it's weird how you're outside on a sunny day and yet it's still a dark setting.

I haven't heard much good things about the Spoetzl brewery. I've had Shiner Bock a few times and it never really wowed me.

Do you think you might want to go with a rating system with a few more brackets, like A-F or 1-10? From what I can tell you only have 4 different ratings and that lumps a lot of stuff together: i.e. somethign I'd give an 8-10 you'd give "full glass" when they're not all equally good.

My rating system is simple and a bit vague on purpose. It's Great, Good, Ok, and Sucky - what more does one want? I like it that way and I have no intention to change it.

@ChadzBeerReviews I'm on ippio and I find either the Eh... or the Stay Away options to be unnecessary. Mainly because If it's a Stay Away beer I wouldn't be reviewing it in the first place, so that leaves only 4 possible ratings anyway, which are already the four ratings of my particular system.

Remember, when I do shit beers I call it Foul Beer Reviews, there is no need for a bottom of the barrel score...

A good Czech pils is the Pils from Lagunitas. Pretty solid brew!

@ilovefastcars89 Sadly, I haven't had Lagunitas' Pils or their IPA... Which is a shame because I love Lagunitas.

@justinrockhold This beer, or any other true pilsner - Spaten or Paulaner, Mama's Lil Yellow Pils, Prima Pils; or a good Hefeweisen. It all depends what you have available to you and what you want to pay.
