The easiest and cheapest way would be to buy a Easycap Capture card (aprox. $10.00 off of Ebay -- Thats where I got mine) If you want better quality, Get a Dazzle -- Around $60.00 and if you want HD (Record with HDMI settings, buy a Haupauge around $230.00, its expensive but its worth it

you can use a video camera but I recommend a few things

1. find something to put it on don't use your hand or it wobbles

2. I don't advise using a mobile phone camera unless its really good use a decent digital camera HD if you can
