@galfurion Sorry.. it was just little scrapes on the clay. I laid out rows of beads, then just scribed them in between those lines.. just indicating them.
@clayguy1 no problem! As a self taught student, I'm usually interested in the fine details and techniques of great artists such as yourself. And about the clay melting, I think you may be wasting a lot of those lamps heat by leaving it open. Have you ever considered builting a lamp furnace or something like that? It's quite cheap and easy to fabricate.
Still doing great I see! Without saying exactly what you pay... Would you be able to tell me how much a bronze roughly costs to get done at a foundry? I found one near me and was just curious! I hope you'll somehow cover for us how the foundry will manage to cast the bow... how Warrior will be cut apart and rejoined after casting the pieces... or is that how it will be done? This is VERY interesting. Have a good Labor Day even as you work.
