i think reviewers dunt touch on the slowness of this phone enough.

this phone has 252mb of ram, which is barely enough to keep 2 apps running at the same time.

it does not have multitouch which sucks, it has a 600mhz processor which is slow.

just dunt get it.

Maybe if you removed some it wouldn't be so bad.That goes for the freezing during a text too.The track pad is pretty pointless...but it's not really your place to say that.

I am torn between this phone and the pantech impact. First I hear this ones shit, then I hear its amazing. Then I hear the Pantech is shit, and then its amazing. i hate how phone quality is based on your own opinion. One person thinks this phone is shit, the next thinks its awesome. Motoblur's really not that bad, but as an OS it is a little too pretty for the underpowered processor that Motorola saw fit toss into the Backflip.

There is a neat app you can get off the market called "Spare Parts" that'll let you tweak your OS to lighten up the draw on your resources. A Task Killer is good for this too, as ATT preloads a /lot/ of bloat.

Oh, and supposedly we'll be getting Gingerbread sometime late in Q4, but Motorola keeps pushing this back. :(

@xXJosh24Xx watcha do is, hold ur finger down on a blank part of the screen. Then another screen will come up with four options. these options are "Shortcuts", "Widgets", "Folders", and "Wallpapers". Then click on "Widgets" and find the widget that says "Search" with a corresponding magnifying glass icon and click on it. BTW this can be used to add anything to ur home screen

I can text the name to be able to send a message or call.

the apps download super fast and the track pad is great if you dont want to get finger prints all over your screen. :)
