I really do try to take away something, anything from any kind of music I listen to. I try to acknowledge its strengths or innovations in earnest. Even an artist I hate like Lady Gaga, I don't feel especially strong about her music. I hate her more as an icon than as a musician. And artists that make laughably bad music like Complete or Brokencyde are so absurdly bad that they function as some kind of unwitting parody, so that's cool.

But thugcore really, truly has no redeeming features.
