Hmmm, it sounds like Oscar's playing a bagpipe, yet it looks like a clarinet from where I'm sitting. And by the way, Oscar, if you really want a subtraction show, try a collaboration with the band Wolf Eyes.

Wow, so this was a crossover of a few times in Sesame history: Maria was pregnant, Hiroshi was just starting on the show and David was almost gone.
I think my reaction would be like Maria's: "I can't take this anymore!... Oh forget it! It's making me ill!" LOL

No, that was Brian Tochi. This might be one of the few shows where an Asian actor didn't play the role of some guy who spoke poor English.

No, the actor playing Hiroshi is Gedde Watanabe, who was in "Pretty in Pink."

It seems weird seeing David and Hiroshi in a scene together. Since Hiroshi joined the show at the tail end of David's time on the show. Although Hiroshi left the show around 1992

Not too long. I figure this is actually the 1988-89 season, because he died in early 1990 and I think he left the show a year or so before that. Correct me if I'm wrong.
My parents actually knew him in the early 70s when they were all in the same acting class.
