  • TOTP2, states 1974 on the on-screen caption. Assists in answering the question here partialy. Anyone have the EXACT broadcast date-show here?

  • Surprised that no one has answered the main question here : Top Of the Pops? To answer this, yes indeed this does look to be from TOTP. If you look in the left top side of the screen you can see the BBC Choice Channel Ident. Not shure on the exact broadcast date. Late 70's without a doubt. Hoping someone may have the exact broadcast date here. Video looks quite compressed, low gen copy am guessing here? Thanks for the great post, UFO rocks as always in any form!!KEEP ON ROCKIN'

  • That's my favourite "Din" of all - a fan of UFO since 1978 and still feel like 17 again every time I see them. The band is still led by Phil Mogg, with original band members; Andy Parker on drums and Paul Raymond on keyboards / guitars and vocals plus Vinnie Moore on lead guitar and Barry Sparks on Bass. If you get the chance to see them live - take it cos Only (UFO) Can Rock You!!! UFO touring US and central Europe NOW! and later in 2011!!!!!!!

  • Classy band. What a shame kids today don't get to see bands like this.

  • @digbycurrents yes we do :) I'm 14 and I've been to see them twice, the most old school band i know thats for sure. wait, are you meaning with the original members?

  • Thanks very much - good stuff this. Interesting to see this song with Chapman instead of Schenker playing. Paul Chapman was easily UFOs best guitarist after Schenker left, but Vinnie is doing a stellar job..
