  • -Recipe for Permanent Hair Removal-

    Ingredients:

-> 2 Cups of White Sugar

    -> 3 Tablespoons of Water

-> 3 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice

    Procedure:

    01) Mix the ingredients together in a pot and place the pot on the stove

    02) Turn the heat on high and heat the mixture quickly to a temperature of 121'C, use a candy thermometer and make sure the colour resemles clear honey

  • 03) Turn the heat off and remove the pot from the stove

    04) Pour the mixture into a suitable container with a big enough opening to allow you hand to reach in and let it cool

    05) Once cooled warm the mixture by placing your container in hot water and prepare yourself

    06) If your hair is longer than a centimeter use clippers and trim it to about a centimeter, it will make spreading the sugar much easier and less painful, but don't strip it too short

  • 07) Take a shower to clean your body and rid it of any dirt, hair and debris, use soap and scrub your body nice and clean

    08) Now the mixture is pliable, remove a piece your comfortable handling

    09) Vigorously knead, stretch and pull the piece until you get an opaque creamy colour, usually after a minute or two, if you notice the piece is stiff wet your fingers lightly and continue

  • 10) Once you have the right consistency, which is creamy in colour with a light stickiness to it and it feels warm to the touch almost like soft toffee or bubble gum, it is ready for use

    11) To keep the mixture from sticking to your hands work it into a ball with the tips of your fingers, not your palms, don't force the piece, be gentle with finesse, almost as if your stroking someone under the chin with your fingers strumming inwards with your thumb running across them

  • 12) Spread the mixture against the hair growth 2-3 times to push the mixture into your follicles

    13) Claw your fingers as if making a fist and flick your wrist down with the hair growth, if you don't get the whole strip just push the mixture back a bit and flick again until all is removed

    14) Your fingers will get sticky and this is a sticky job so don’t worry, the key is to keep going and don’t stop, don’t let the mixture sit too long on your skin as your body heat will warm it up

  • 15) You need to apply, apply, apply, flick, flick, flick, and repeat, if pieces get stuck roll the piece across them quickly to lift them up or smack it against the area to pick up those bits and pieces

    16) As the piece collects hair it gets uglier and uglier and more and more wet and sticky, just keep going until you are able to handle it no more and it loses its ability to hold and becomes gooey and mushy and wont flick into nice sheets anymore

  • 17) At this point just discard the piece, wash your hands with warm water, as it is water soluble and begin with a new piece

    18) Once you are done with an area rinse the area with warm water first to remove any remaining sugar and then splash it with cold water to close and tighten the pores

    19) Do not use soaps or detergents along with lotions or deodorants on the areas you sugar and do not expose them to sun for at least 24 hours

  • 20) You will get bruising in certain areas, it looks cool, you can brag that you fought someone and did something brave, and you will love the way your skin feels and looks

    21) The pain is minimal, it is much less than waxing with strips and because you use the sugar paste itself to remove the hair and you pull with the hair growth it just gives a tiny stinging sensation as opposed to wax which actually rips off the top layer of your skin

  • 22) It is totally worth it, it doesn't remove your skin as the sugar only sticks to the hair and the added benefit is the sugar paste exfoliates your skin and removes all dead skin cells along with blackheads, and any crap that doesn’t belong on your skin

  • this hurts?

  • mm muy bueno este video

  • ????

  • Wow... This looks vastly superior to strips...

    Must take skill tho.

  • @DackIsBack Lool in all honesty it doesn't i'm 15 & arab soo i find it extremely easy to do... it takes a little while to get used to but a tip for beginners is rather than applying the wax straight onto your skin when it's still see through, stretch it til it becomes that opaque colour you see when it gets pulled away from the skin... its a lot easier to handle that way

  • ok all the sugaring recipes I see say that you need strips...what is the recipe for the sugaring to come out like this one here? they must have added something else.

  • @ladamadelcaribe nope. check out amy11190 - she shows how to make it without the strips and the one for strips. tried it myself :)

  • how much it cost???

  • What temperature does it have to be in order for it to look and act like that? Every time I do it, it sticks to everything but itself and then I have to wipe it off with a damp towel. Is it room temp when you apply it? Cold? I get the mixture right whether it's amber colored or the golden brown above, but not the application. I get it wrong every single time.

  • does this work? is it hard to do? looks like it take skill lol i want to use it for my bikini area :x very cost officiant !

  • but she looks hairless already! maybe it's really fine or light colored

  • @itsaplsnow continuous waxing over the months/years makes the hair very thin till a time comes when you don't have to wax any more or wax very infrequently. Or sometimes it is also genes too - some people are naturally not very hairy.

  • oigan en serio sirve???

  • @MissZuleiica claro que no ves?

  • Amazing! :)

  • wot a strange wax???

  • woooow thats soo cool

  • Здравствуйте , Девочки и Администраторы группы!

  • Mi sono sempre chiesta come cavolo fanno a strappare questa cera morbidissima senza strisce. Boh?

• The video is call Oriental Epilation part 1

  • Here is the video I have been talking about

  • ..she is rushing everything and that's not right ...Also I know the exact receipe to do it with sugar and honey and we add special secret ingredients whchi helps its consistancy & reduce hair growth on the long run ...you better watch that Morrocan woman's technique , I call her a master of sugar paste and I can judge the sugar paste itself of perfect quality by its colour and consitancy . BTW I am not advertising just giving advice

  • @Fardosssa CAN YOU PROVIDE ME THAT RECIPE PLEASE

  • @Fardosssa

    do you know her name?

  • ..she is rushing everything and that's not right ...Also I know the exact receipe to do it with sugar and honey and we add special secret ingredients whchi helps its consistancy & reduce hair growth on the long run ...

  • am Egyptian and ancient Egyptians used Sugaring for thousands of years with honey then with Sugar ' We learn it on our mother's kness ... As a Suaring guru myself after 18 years of Sugaring myself , this woman in the video is doing a horrible job se should spread IN THE DIRECTION of hair growth not against it otherwise it will be very painful and will only "cut" the hairs away from the roots ..and there are two techinques to spread it

  • @Fardosssa

Actually spreading against te direction of hair growth allows you to

"pull" or "slide" the hair out

which prevents the air from breaking

and thus making the hair weaker.

When you pull with the hair

you see the roots more frequently on the wax than the opposite direction.

Also it is much less painful and irritating that pulling against your hairs.

  • @cinziakay

Dear , I respect your advice very much but Ancient Egyptians are those who invented the "Sugaring " and from thence it spread to other Middle Eastern & Arabic countries , Some Arabs even call it Egyptian Halawa ...We learn two techinques to spreading the paste and "against the hair growth" is certainly not one of them . Ask any Egyptian woman who had had sugared herself for years like Mom , or any skilled Egyptian Beautician in Sugaring and she would tell you the same .

  • @Fardosssa

Spreading with is the original way

that has been used for centuries, even my mother was confused by spreading against, because with waxing you spread with the growth.

In tweezing, a lot of people pull in the direction against growth, which is why the hair breaks.

When sugaring it is possible to pull the hair out in the direction of growth unlike waxing so u can do it

Spreading against and with, work equally well, but against is less irritating and stressful to skin.

  • @cinziakay

If it has worked for you and never broke the hairs instead of "yanking " them from the root then go ahead with it dear .But it certainly , an experienced "Balanah " that what we call girle who do sugaring & threading for women in Egypt would tell you it's wrong ...

  • @Fardosssa you're talking about the honey and milk body wax right?

  • @Fardosssa I know little about cosmetics, my question is not about the product of Halwa, but rather about the period of it being invented. Which period of "ancient Egypt" do you actually mean? My egyptology friends all cry out loud reading this. There is roughly 5000 years of ancient Egyptian history B.C.. But there wasn't any lemon (and no refined sugar, just honey and dates) in the near East untill Alexander the Great, earliest.

  • @Seleuce

Kindly check my reply above . Thanks

  • @Fardosssa Well, we had some missunderstanding then, no sweat! :)

I didn't try to attack you. It's just that I often read things like "Halawa is as old as the pyramids!" and similar, indeed meaning the lemon+sugar recipe which, as you obviously know, is wrong. Sorry if I offended you.

  • @Fardosssa Other experts think citrus fruits came to the near East at the Roman empire period only which is way after "ancient Egypt". And most historians believe that Egypt got lemon only when it already had become Arabic, again much later. Please do not claim things freely without any established knowledge, even experts are not totally sure about the period.

Anyway I think Halwa is a phantastic invention and most certainly very old. I'd rather like people saying it this way. :)

  • @Seleuce

Lol. You're absloutely right about Citrus fruit and when they were introduced to Egypt . I wasn't talking at all about a receipe with Sugar & Lemon as we do it today (Both were introduced very late to Egyptian ) I was talking about a Honey receipe which a lot of Egyptian women know & doesn't use lemon or sugar at all .Nice try really :)

  • @Fardosssa

Would you give me a recipe please I would love to try sugaring on myself and family. You seem to know what you are talking about and you said you have been doing it for a long time, so I would rather get a recipe from you if you wouldnt mind sharing it?

  • @Fardosssa Hey, i have found several recepies on this egyptian waxing, but I would really like to hear from you what's the right thing to do....maybe you also know what to do with ingrown hair? I thank you in advance for anykind of answer :)

  • @Fardosssa Video, video, video! I really wanna learn how to do it correctly, please make a video!

  • esa es la cera que se hace de azucar, limon y agua, facil de hacer en casa.

  • that seems really cool!! But you definitely need someone to do that for you so they can get it everywhere !!

  • Imagine what it looks like afterwards.... playdoh with pubic hair

  • i can never do this right. i always make a huge mess and so i gave up altogether. i guess its not the best choice for when you just start waxing.

  • snor issie weg dan

  • se ve práctico.... pero a la vez me da asco xD

  • Comment removed

  • I don't think you use water. I made a bunch a long time ago and don't remember putting any in

  • its two cups of sugar

  • i guess your recipe is okay, this as shown in the video is not really a good consistency, its too watery I guess. maybe you just need to really use 1/4 cup of water and 1/4 of lemon juice, not 1/16 cup

  • i just wanted a little batch u kno?

not like this huge one and than mess up...again

  • @missxXxunderstood the original (real recipe) calls for 2 cups of sugar 3 tablespoons of lime or lemon juice and 3 tablespoons of water.

  • @chuchi100293 your supposed to do equal parts sugar water honey and a couple drops of lemon juice

  • thx, ill remember tht next time lol.

does your wax look lke the one in the video though\?

  • يــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــع

  • wat???

  • oh gosh it`s so nice

  • @MrsMilkBerry if u know how to make normal homemade sugar wax , while it is hot pour it in a metal tray(cookie tin cover) and let it cool so u can touch it it will turn into a jelly kind of consistency. that is the right time to keep it warm on a hot plate and use it .Good luck.

  • @MrsMilkBerry to make sugar wax .

1 cup sugar white or brown

    1/4 cup of water

1/4 cup of lemon juice. mix them together and put on high heat in a non stick pan. keep stiring with a wooden spoon. the mixture will bubble keep checking until it reaches a golden brown colour take a small drop of mixture (let it cool ) and hold between fingers if it is sticky and comes off fngers easily its done dont overcook or it becomes hard. NEVER CHECK STARIGHT AWAY ON SKIN. I REPEAT NEVER ITS VERY HOT.

  • @sohniuk actually its 2 cup sugar, the rest is correct though : ) my family has been doing this forever

  • Comment removed

  • i think lemon and suger you mix them togther in hot water

  • What is the recipe for this?

I've only made normal sugaring wax myself before, but this seems to be of a different type?

  • wow the result looks great

  • hi, what is white things on skin, befor depilation,

  • powder... to avoid the humidity!

  • i think just baby powder

  • does this hurt a lot in the 'sensitive' area? cause i'm not sure to use this homemade product

  • i made this sugaring today, and i used it in that area, as same as whit wax, the epilation of the sensitive area has to be done in small portion of about 2X3 cm portions of area, no more cause this area is very delicate and skin is more sagging, so be very carefull to hold it tight also

  • oh thanks!

  • it actually doesn't hurt that much because the sugar only sticks to the hair (if you be sure and use baby powder!) so it's less painful than wax.

of course it all depends on pain tolerance. but it's better than waxing.

  • @angelshell101 - you mean mound/vulva?

  • I got waxed like that. less painful than hard wax i'll tell u that much.

  • is this wax easy to make at home?

  • It's just a sugar wax.. ;)

If you type sugar wax in the search...

You'll see how to make it.. :D

  • @desicoolchick

Very easy, I just made it and cooling down now :) 2 cups sugar, 1/4 cup od lemon or lime juice, 1/4 cup of water. Bring to boli and simmer on little fire until get golden brown - brownish. Cool down and enjoy :)

  • @desicoolchick yea,my mom makes it all da time, ingrediants u get are simple sugar, lemon juice,water...but it has to be juuuuuuust right. u have to watch it like a hawk

  • @desicoolchick oohh yes it is

  • @desicoolchick It is, but you have to make the sugar wax just as hard as it should be, because if it's too liquid it will get stuck to your legs... But it's made out of lemons, water and of course sugar. You can get the recipe online... Just search for sugar wax :D

  • @desicoolchick they say so, but actually I don't think you can easily do your own bikini line alone...

  • @desicoolchick yes is very easy, you just need 1 cup of sugar and 1 lemon juice, add the sugar, water and lemon juice and boil it over medium heat for about 15 minutes, or when you see is golden :):), sorry about my inglish, i hope you can do it.

  • @desicoolchick yeah, it is, this video explains how to do it (:

    /watch?v=KSPKP8nzUjw&feature=relmfu

  • @desicoolchick ~ Yeah. Just type in 'sugar wax' if u wanna know how.

  • @desicoolchick Lemon water and sugar. BUT YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT CAREFULLY! because if it burns it will be a disaster! it has to be perfect.

  • Just wanted to let you guys know that if you're having trouble with it getting sticky and unusable quickly once it touches your body then perhaps you should cook it until just right before it becomes too hard to use. Try to get it as dark as you can without reaching the hard ball stage and it'll take longer to melt. I don't know why this works but I suspect it has something to do with reaching a higher boiling point so it takes more heat to melt it. Hope this helps :)

  • LaSireneSousLaPluie : So the more you cook it the harder it will become? I want to get it hard because the ones i have made turn out like syrup. How can I get it to get harder and not so sticky?

  • You just have to cook it longer. I was going to send you a link to a youtube video that shows how to test it very well but I see you already have the video favorited :) It's the Making and Using Sugar Wax Part 2 by Amy11190 video. You just run water over a spoon of the sugar wax and once it's cool you try to stretch it like taffy to see if it's ready. I wouldn't follow the recipe she suggests though. 3 cups of sugar, 2 cups of water, and 2 teaspoons of lemon or lime juice works better.

  • where I can find the type of wax

  • wow hell ya rather do that than use stupid razors

  • lol ive done that by my self...lol

  • B y the way how do they make this?? I mean what's the exact recipe?

  • Wow that lady is so professional..she makes it look so darn easy!

  • Oh my god, they make it seem so easy!! The consistency is hard to keep, once it touches the body it melts. I love how easy it lookd, Is there a place in the US that does this anyone know???

  • yeh in michigan they're faster lol ...

  • Shut up are u for real!!! Where in Michigan, cus i never heard of them doing it there...I will do some research and see.

  • why do i have to get the shut up word for lol ... no in michigan there are people who does that ... try go to sterling heights michigan to the salons out there you will see ... they do it better than anyone & btw male here but i just know a lot hhhhhhh ...

  • Sorry its a cali word we use alot...shut up!!! how do u know soo much as a male.. lol nevermind i dont wanna know.. I will look around if i ever go to MI thanks for the info...

  • thnx hun for the video! my mom has done that for a long time now and she barely has anymore hair now lol..2 much info but i'm def gona try it out

  • OMg habibity wallah soo true all of our moms do it n hey dont have hair...we should leave the razors n learn from our moms lol

  • lol we def should!! razors suck!! and i dont want 2 b doing that 4 ever hehe

  • i just know lol my sister does it all the time thats why i know where she does it 2 minutes she'll be done lol ... but ill ask my sister or my cousins in cali & i will let you know ... or you can check with the chaldeans out there in cali ... there a lot of em lol

  • it looks so easy. I am going to try this. But how thick must the halawa be to peel it off?

  • uukh i hate using this! the hot wax with th strips are much better , less pain and consumes little of time

  • I love using this stuff.

  • is it kind of wax or what?

  • I think it's more of a paste. It's almost like a mold that you rip off. I don't know for sure, but I know it's not like the heavy hot wax.

  • its called sugaring, its just made with sugar water and lemon juice, much better than waxing and less expensive, you can make it at home.

  • Pretty neat. Is this the soft ball method since the cloth strips aren't being used? I've got to try this.

  • does anyone know how o make this paste?

i've been looking for a wax recipes on here. this seems to be easier to do.

  • I use 2 cups water, 3 cups white sugar, and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. You mix them in a saucepan and the bring mixture to a boil over medium heat on the stove. You heat it to hard ball stage, or around 260 degrees. I use a candy thermometer (they cost like $5 if you don't have one) to get it right. Then you let it cool until you can handle it, knead it and do like the video.

    Hope that helps.

  • Of all the comments I've read on this video, yours sounds the most sensible; no one else said anything about the kneading part, which may be why theirs didn't work the same as in the video. I'm going to give your recipe a try.

  • Yeah, the kneading is really the key part. If you don't knead it enough between pulls, it doesn't really take anything out. I don't just like knead it like bread dough though. I hold both ends and pull it apart and keep folding it over on itself. For some reason that seems to be the best way.

  • You guys need to all get a grip..Even though i'm siding with Lucy because the rest of you need you to fucking grow the hell up..

    Peace Witchesss

  • Comment removed

  • Hehe, my mother used to work as a waxer from home during the 70s using this stuff. So cheap, she gave me the instructions:)

  • why is it that mines gets stuck to my hands.. and also when i put it on my legs it also just gets stuck instead of lifting up..

  • How do you make the wax?? Do you know?

  • 2 cups sugar, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/4 cup water. Cook on low heat until it just gets over 200 or turns very light brown. If you boil it too hard or it gets dark brown, it will get brittle.

  • wow, it looks like a shiny soft sugar candy, i wanna eat it!! i love sweets!!

  • maybe you can eat it after you finish sugaring you legs. mmmmm sounds appetizing (im being sarcastic)

  • well, honey and yogurt fits very well (yeah, I'm being sarcastic too)

  • maybe im being slow but i really dont get it...explain please

  • never mind... just leave me alone.

  • if u wanted to be left alone than u shoulda never replied to me in the first place...duh

  • wtf go fuck yourself, loser!! it was you/him who started it all, so get a life, will you? thanks!!

  • wooow,,,

now you really showed how much ignorant you are.

Thanks a lot, now I'm REALLY Laughing Out Loud!! how many old you are, sweetie? 10 years old? You can't be older than me, seriously.

By the way, learn more about Japanese culture before you make any attempts to write smart comments - whoever you are, you're surely a totally ignorant person.

Reply once again if it'll make you happy, kid. I'm outta here ;) You've made my day!! LOL!!

  • "how many old you are, sweetie? " enough said...at least im old enough to know how to speak proper english so u cant really criticize my age or intelligence with this kind of stupidity...as for your magnificent culture, at least other places dont make an art out of prostituting to justify it as okay, btw im not ignorant i can make a joke out of every culture and race including mine because i have friends of every color and they know how to laugh and not get anal...

    toodles!

    odaijini

  • some people need to get a life, if your only way of being productive in life is to start shit with people on youtube.

wow you guys need to grow up.

  • tell it to her, not me, 'cause I didn't started anything.

anyway, you don't need to start shit too.

  • i didnt start anything i was simply giving advise that you guys need to get a life and i did tell it to her too.

also from the comments it does kindda seem like you are the one starting the dramma with your "go fuck yourself comment" so ya you kindda did start it unless im missing something.....

anyway please dont reply to me cuz i really dont have time to sit here and play this little kids game with you.

    peace.

  • yes, she did start it. my 1st comment wasn't worth any literature prizes, but was harmless. if she had said "I'm just kidding" instead of "being sarcastic", things would have been very different.

so auntie got no time for the kids, but she does have a lot of time to get into other people's business and restart dead discussions. you need to get a life for yourself, too.

when people reply to me, I'll reply to them unless I decide not to.

so... this time, I'm done with you... and gone.

    peace.

  • In two days I'm gonna make a video of me and my friend making the sugar wax. please check it out in a couple days for a good video

  • wow

    wanna try this someday :)
