In America, soap operas are on during the daytime, unless it's a night time soap like Dynasty or Dallas or Melrose Place, Beverly Hills 90210, etc.,  Americans probably will never be real open about showing gay people having sex, unless it's on a premium channel like Showtime (Queer as Folk or a cable channel which comes on late (Nip/Tuck) Nudity is shown but only from theback on Nip/Tuck. Even Nip/Tuck and other shows are not going to show full frontal nudity or people in bed together.
