One guy said that, he and his family hided in a house when some soviets entered and found them. They took his doughter and opened her head, pulled out the brain and placed it in front of her family on the table. Lothar was a student of law at Bonn university and at this time we became firm friends and we often discussed this very point. We lost contact in 1952/53 when I went to Korea. I later found out that Lothar had committed suicide in1953 because no-one would employ him because of his name. We employed him as an English speaker but his own countrymen rejected him.

At the climax of his speeches Hitler looks crazy....Goebbels always (even when raising his voice and getting excited) seemed to maintain his composure. Goebbels just seemed like a better orator IMO. But I guess at the time, the spectacle of someone appearing possessed was desirable for the German people because it represented some divine power and energy that would deliver Germany out of the depression and the terms of the Versailles treaty.

If anything, Goebbels, was very sharp, quick witted and bright. Just because an examination paper claims pupil 'x' to be a poor academic, far from proves that they have no intellectual ability. Joseph Goebbels unfortunately didn't survive the war. Being forced,like Hitler, to take his own life along with his family. his dead body was badly handled by bunker staff intrusted to undertake this grusome task of body disposal. His corpes was doused in petrol in a bomb crator then set alight but it was only partialy burned by the time the Soviets arrived. Pictures show it charred with an ugly facial expression and one leg out. His left hand patheticaly pointing up and his penus shriveled up
