Well both were great in concert back in the day (can't believe I can say that now). FIF was a whole lot funnier in concert but The Supertones were tighter all around. Never forget when I saw them after the first album came out. I'd been to alot of shows by that point and that was by far the most fun I'd had at a show. Danced like a madman!

I think they were really Christians, and were genuinely true. They stuck together for a long time and there lyrics are awesome. I too am critical of bands who say they are christian, because I have seen quite a few just use that title to get popular and then all of a sudden, they arent Christian. Good question though.

What about Ska Skank Redemption. They don't seem too Christian and never say they are on their website. They are listed in many christian ska band lists though. I thought they were but they were alo playing Streetlight Manifesto songs which I belive is an anti-religious band. I still listen to Streetlight though because the music is incredible.

I dont believe you have to say "I'm a christian" to show your faith. Though if your looking for something that shows their faith or mentions GOD. Their song ADONAI shows their faith among others. ADONAI is one of the names of GOD the father.

sweet! thanks man! btw does he have a channel? u should get him to make one. anyways, have u ever heard of the concert "rock the universe"? switch foot was there along with relientk, skillet, group one crew, and a bunch others. the switch foot show was by far the BEST!!!!!!!! and the night after that crazy concert, i went to another switchfoot show in a small little place closer to my house. they played the same songs, but it still rocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now sure he has a channel, ill get back to you on, that, if he has myspace or face book ill let you know, ya i went to see switchfoot last september, they were with jars of clay (they got kind of jiped because not too many people were there yet, robert randolph and the family band (he plays a slide guitar, it is amazing) of course switchfoot, (put on the best show there) and then Third day was the las to preform, and they were good too, then they all came back out and did a U2 song

Their manager stole money from them!!! So much that it out them in debt. They did not prosecute this guy either. In fact Spencer, the trombone player says he personally forgave him! Look this up before anyone calls me a liar.

I went to their farewell tour, and they said that God has called them to do other things now. Like "mojo" is now a traveling minister. The other people are either youth pastors are in other bands, stuff like that. They all said they were sad to not be together anymore, but it's the right thing to do. They all left on good terms, hopefully they have a reunion tour soon! I miss them!!!!

I use to watch these guys all the time on an OLDSCHOOL punk show that use to be called "G-Rock!". It would come on the Christian Trinity channel that would also play MxPx and Slickshoes. Great stuff!
