  • no explains it better.easier than this guy. Literally has helped me record 100x better.

  • this is very good, thank you!

  • I love that tone that engineers get when they're talking about an awesome piece of equipment. haha.

    Great lesson!

  • Oh man your lessons are so good. Thankyou. We are not worthy but very grateful.

  • Here is free plug in and I will say it is incredible I am shocked that it was free. How many would believe that A Virtual instrument could even remotely come close to that of a real time guitar.. Spicy guitar sounds very good type Spicy Guitar in your browser download it especially if you are learning on your guitar or sampling from others who created presets for you. Great vid... Keep playing great use of compressing man you do collect and compressing excellent to remove unwanted sound and more

  • If i may add - also when mixing the guitar u might want to cut everything below 500 - it will sound awkward on its own but in the band with bass and drums its just mint!

I love your tutorials more and more with every single one i watch!

  • This was a GODSEND for us. I love that you incorporate Xpand2 - it's my favorite thing about Pro Tools right now.

  • Great videos, man. Watch them a lot. One question though, how did you gray out the solo button on your guitar mix bus? Cause when I'm mixing, I'd like to solo my tracks without having to solo the bus I routed them to, but I can't for the life of me figure out how you were able to that. Thanks a lot.

  • @thejoevossmusic Command/CTRL then click the solo button

  • @airusersblog Thanks so much! Keep up the great work. You're amazing.

  • The guitar chords remind me of the M People song 'Just for You'. Great song.

Also, when we master tracks in college, we use Stereo Width.

  • WOW Your The BEST!! Thank You

  • thanks :)

  • Thanks man, I'm doing work experience in a studio next month and they use Protools (not my usual FL Studio), these vids are an amazing resource for me to learn the basics before I start :)

  • Wow. I learned a crapload. Thank you so much.

  • I love running into videos like this that actually teach me something instead of boring me with yada yada yada :)

  • great advice here man . thank you dude .

  • did you mean the behringer c1 mic?? Rode doesn't have a c1 mic.

  • what chord progession is that

  • hi there, great video thanks for posting!! As I'm not a guitar player, I don't know much about them but want to use them in my songs . So I have a question: in the 2nd guitar did you play the melody an octave up or did you play unison? Or can you tell me what exactly you did. Also I want to know if this is not two guitars playing octaves if it's cool to use two guitars playing the same melody an octave different so as to spread the sound in the frequency spectrum. Thank you very much!!

  • @studiomikeK0921042

frequency and soundspace have nothing to do with notation, so yes, playing just an octave of a guitar can benefit the frequency spectrum. but in this example the 2nd guitar is playing harmonies, not octaves.

(not that im the player or the poster : )

  • great vid! It's very useful! :)))

    Thanks for it! :)
