  • It's is amazing what can happen to a country that was in the top 5 industrialized nations until people choose someone who is for "fundamental change"(hipolito irigoyen) I hope the United States can learn from Argentina's mistake before it is too late. Vote Obama out 2012!!

  • @flightstudios However, if you vote Obama out there are no other alternatives. Obama is a shitty president, but the other will be super shitty presidents.

  • @flightstudios ok...why is obama only "shitty" and the "alternatives" "super shitty"? What makes obama better than Herman Cain for example. Btw, if you say that Cain is either "racist" or "hates the poor", then it will be painfully obvious that you have no clue what you are talking about.

  • @drealmgvids..you have been dumbed down and brainwashed by the system ...you dont even realize USA is not even in top ten now, dumb shit.

  • @darkktur lol maybe u need to take another look at the Economic list dumb fuck..

  • @D10SArgentinaa argentina was never a first world country it has always been one of the poor countries in latin america... My country is not fucked up im living life well in the good ole U S A

  • @dReaMGVids yes it was, jackass. It was the 8 development country.

You are american, do you know that there was a time that Argentina and Usa fight each other to be the lider in America. Argentina was the 4th richest country and they have 1/3 of united states poblation.

  • @D10SArgentinaa

Thats what a communist says. You're a communist. I don't blame you though. Thats what you have been taught. Thats your history. You get your rights from the government, we get our rights from GOD. I bet you didn't even know a communist banker George Soros is the one who collapsed your economy and went into chaos but instead you want to hate Americans.

PS. We will never stand with the communsits and fascists in greece and spain. You foreigners are lazy and feel your entitled.

  • I am Argentinian, we suffered a lot because of the greed and personal interest of financial corporations (international banks, FMI,etc).

Crisis is starting in Europe and USA now.

My humble advice: DO NOT BE FOOL!! LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE IN FRONT OF THE WHITE HOUSE! LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE IN SPAIN, IN GREECE!!

Honestly, I do not wish to anyone what happend to my country, it is true we were one of the top 10 countries for a very long time...

  • alla the world should learn form argentina .... and began to do the same shit ....

  • omg i wanted to cry watching this the uk wont be far bhide this in some ways this scares me the entire country need to take a stand these people had the balls todo it so should we!

  • @xxleannebabyxx Yes, David Cameron and Osborne go hand in hand with the IMF and World bank and the cuts we are seeing in the UK are a result of the hold international banks have on the UK. I hope the British people wake up soon and take to the streets with pots and pans because time is running out.

  • @withnielandi oh its comeing close theres only so much people can take before they crack the govment would be nothink if it wasnt for the people of britain and the govment are backing the people into a corner and one of these days there going to fight there way out of that corner xxxx

  • @xxleannebabyxx Well said, we are the government and they work for us but we got to be street wise and not find our self danceing to the pipers tune. If we riot they can roll the tanks out so violence is not the solution. We have to stop bieng backed into the corner and start to call there bluff :)

  • @withnielandi i totaly agree hun x

  • This makes me want to cry... We need to pray for America so it does not happen here too... Those People from Argentina are so Brave...May God Bless them all!!

  • @chica4jc God is not going to do sh*t. All that has to be done has to be done by us. Shifting our burden to some imaginary friend does not reek of good will, just apathy.

  • @17thsavior oh well I GUESS U forgot everything of this world is control by Satan who is ruler of this world, the great opposition to God. you placing burdens on yourself will not stop the eventual destruction of the world, in fact its the same lie of devil every generation falls for.

  • Argentina seems to have a history of blaming everyone but themselves. Its the IMFs fault were economically failing, oh its the Brits fault for stealing our falklands (which have never actually been owned by us) woe is us woe is us. More like your government is a total joke and the only way to deal with your problems is to elect someone with at least half a brain cell to run the country.

  • @Willforbes296532 LOL you need to stop drinking before noon.

  • @Willforbes296532 shhh... winter is comming for you 2

  • @D10SArgentinaa

  • What @D10SArgentinaa said isnt totally right. It is a fact that the result of 50 years of bad politics is still visible, but we're not a poor country. As a matter of fact, Nestor Kirchner and his wife, the current president, have done miracles during the last 8 years. We're not in the glory, but they've clearly got us out of the mess and started putting us back on the map. The recipee? Simple, the world doesn't need the IMF. Its not a coincidence that Obama requested a meeting with Cristina...

  • @D10SArgentinaa No need to be sorry for your english. We understand your message.Thank you.I wish you well.

  • @D10SArgentinaa im from buenos aires, and what you said its truth :( ..

  • sounds familiar dosent it , dont matter who becomes president nothing changes , i wonder why , oh i know Internatinal mafia family IMF

  • @WhiteLion8403 IMF??? you mean.... the International mother fuckers?

  • @WorldIssues2000. Regardless of my spelling, I wonder if you have the rights to post this video. Furthermore, why did you cut the opening credits that appear at the beginning of the documentary. (In between, your comment about the misspelling sounded arrogant and dismissive.)

  • from one of the 10 most riches nation on earth to a basket case? why did argentina betray themselves? do we blame the americans? the british? or do we blame the people of argentina to allow this to happen? i dont blame the poor. i blame the greedy.

  • @penarolo88 whats wrong with bolivians, paraguayans and peruvians? Too darkskinned for you?

  • EL PUEBLO NO SE VA,EL PUEBLO NO SE VA,NO SE VA,EL PUEBLO NO SE VA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is the enigma of Argentina of how one of the richest nations in the world with all the resources possible back then became such a disgrace of a country, kind of creepy.

  • For the United States to fall this low in a quick amount of time like how Argentina did is a bit exaggerated. Since Argentina is basically a third world country even to this day. Also being one of the most corrupt nations in the world with very weak institutions and low credibility as a nation of course this was going to happen in Argentina and trust me with the corrupt government they have now in the near future this is going to happen again, believe my words when I tell you this.

  • The warning US citizens ignored

    Search For

    "BUSH OBAMA DESTROYED US ARMY"

  • This could be America.

  • I found quite disrespectful to have cut the TITLE and NAME of the director, who is not other than renown filmmaker FERNANDO PINO SOLANAS.

The title of the documentary is MEMORIA DEL SAQUO, distributed in the United States and Europe as "SOCIAL GENOCIDE".

  • Sad that a great country like Argentina can't seem to "get it's act together". They have so many good things going for them, compared to other countries: natural resources (agriculture and minerals), industrial development, a good infrastructure (roads, telephones, etc.), a long coastline with excellent harbors (perfectly situated for world trade), and an educated population. But all they ever seem to have is dictatorships, violent government changes, and corruption.

  • @delavalmilker You seem to be quite misinformed. These events are from 2001. A decade ago. Argentina TODAY is growing 8.5 % and has had a TWIN SURPLUS (exports and fiscal revenue) for the last 7 years. This was said by Hillary Clinton when she visited Argentina a while ago. Also, Paul Krugman has recently said that Argentina is one of the most serious countries in the world in terms of economic policies.

Before making outrageous statements, please get better informed.

  • Yes, but 10 years is only a very small section of time in the very much larger time frame of Argentine history. It remains to be seen whether there has been a PERMANENT shift from the dictatorships, militarism, and repression that has plagued not only Argentina but other South American countries. And these very things have been a feature of Argentine history. It's no use trying to deny it by using nationalistic indignation. Also-do not confuse economic growth with less corruption, etc.

  • @delavalmilker You are still misinformed. The economic collapse was 10 years ago. Do you know when the last civic-military dictatorship ended? You are the one that sounds self-center, making careless statements, and not having a grasp on history. Please, read serious historical accounts before making those statements. Robert Potash, an American historian, has written eloquent accounts on Argentina's history. Also, you seem to forget that the USA imposed right-wing dictatorships in South America.

  • this is the past ..BAY BAYYY !!

  • i didnt mean that u were rich, i just was saying that very few people enjoy the agro-export model until 1930. Workers worked full-time 12hs per day with any kind of rights. So who got the profit of the Argentina top leader? It was a country rulled by the national oligarchy and the british, then US. On the other hand, i ve heard Ron Paul talking against income tax in US. I don't know about that, but its very different the impact of economics policies in industrialized countries than in agricultur

  • and now is the turn of greece, prime minister of greece continues the same road of de la rua, only hope is the people which is getting down on the streets and fight the imf,the goverment and the police

  • It is amazing to watch history, and at the same same time, witness repetition. It all started for Argentina when Hipolito Irigoyen, a progressive leader, came up and said, "We need fundamental CHANGE!."(sound like anyone you know?) And look what Argentina has been through ever since. America, it is time to wake up. Argentina was among the top ten wealthiest nations in the world, until people chose "fundamental change". It can and is happening to the USA. WAKE UP!

  • @flightstudios So what's your solution, argentina has been through this more than once right?

I don't think privatization is the answer, look at our health care, it's unaffordable. America has

had social programs for over 70yrs. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid etc.. so isn't that socialist in nature?

These programs work, and its all about balance. People want to privatize social security w a 9% admin cost

Our govt. runs it currently at 3% admin cost, and so on, im confused about it

  • @pacificcapital1 Privatization(free-market) is the answer. The reason that healthcare is unaffordable is because of regulations, particularly in regards to not allowing companies to go across state borders, and lawsuits have a great deal to do with it. Social programs, such as medicare, social security, and medicaid(etc...) are each filled with fraud. I think that you should be able to keep your entire paycheck and invest on your own and not depend on the government to do it.

  • @flightstudios (continued) I also understand there are those who literally cannot work and there are solutions for that. But as far as the way the current system works in the US, it is a bankrupt business model. Socialized medicine is a joke. Look at canada. They are now trying to find ways to undo socialized healthcare because they found out the hard way(just as we may be doing ourselves) that under that method, accessability goes down and costs go up.

  • @flightstudios so you'd rather take a chance w wall street and get ripped off huh ok and take a chance w all your goods, since they wont be regulated maybe your milk wont have a date on it, cause it's not regulated anymore. It's not the answer, Govt. works. It's the rich that takes it from you and the dirty politicians that you have voted in. This in turn takes it to a good ol boy network and money gets taken from you and is given to big corporations, leaving you w the debt to pay.

  • @pacificcapital1 It sounds like to me that you believe that a government is better at making decisions about how you should be living your life rather than you making those decisions for yourself. I fundamentally disagree. period. I did not work my way up from nothing because of a government bureaucrat/agency, and here I am paying about 45% of my income(in total) in taxes every year. Our own government can't even figure out that in order to recover our debt, we must cut spending.

  • @flightstudios (continued) That is what I would have to do if I spent more than I took in, why don't they? It's issues like these that make me distrust a large federal government because it is pretty clear that I can make better decisions about how to run my life than they ever could.

  • @flightstudios Firstly, you're speaking more sense than the others. I just hope your disillusionment doesn't swing you to a polarised position. That's what they want, you see. Everyone fighting from the poles, fighting over ideologue and ignoring the fact that whilst the theory is brilliant on one side, there is nothing fundamentally flawed about free enterprise either (except regulation exists in a vacuum, if you don't regulate them, they will regulate you - pump

  • @flightstudios You've got the political rhetoric mixed up with the logic. The reasons otherwise | sound ethical intelligent flawless Keynesian expenditure | hardly ever works has nothing to do with the disconnected reasoning you have argued. Regulations are bad when they are idiotic and corrupted. Regulations are bad when the idiotic don't realise that to not regulate, the corrupt will pay paddy-wack with their behinds, all the way home. You don't want to live in a world where $ = unregulated.

  • @flightstudios u are fuckin insane, really. You don't know a shit of "underdeveloped" countries. We all know that comparatives advantajes have been the excuse to keep agriculture countries in poverty, with an elite, of course owner of the land who supported that policies at the cost of the hole mayority. Certainly this few rich people support probably as you Alvear and they have had their party-fest with the 30's coup de etat.

    cheers, Juan Domingo

  • @aseeeeel Who said I am rich? I pay both federal income and state income taxes. I can thank the freaking progressive era for the federal income tax, which btw less than half of the US pays. People are going to wake up one day and realize that its people like me who create jobs. NOT government! My suggestion to you and everyone who thinks like you is to stop drinking the "kool-aid" and start brewing some tea!

  • @flightstudios Yes! The thing that used to drive me crazy but just makes me roll my eyes is how every idiot who pimps out democracy as the Holy Grail seems to forget that um, democracy = their nation goes to shit? That shit is on them. But they don't want to accept that. They don't want to vote for the brilliant, softly-spoken, unorthodox genius. They want the corrupt guy who campaigns in punchlines, has cute oneliners his copywriters wrote for him to deliver, when the 'tough' questions arrive.

  • That's cool. But then why are they surprised when they are raped? More seriously, where do they get the nerve destroying anyone's property by the guilty parties (they voted Peron, Menam, Kirchner and guys who histories that were peppered with corruption. Democracy is a fail. It failed so badly in Argentina, it saved their asses. A young President elected in a quiet room by other senators (rather undemocratic), SELECTED the genius who then saved Argentina. Democracy ditched. Good times rolled.

  • They deserved it like I deserve Natalie Portman. After the economic HERO of the (rolling) century saved Argentina almost single-handedly; with brilliance, simple but perfectly implemented Keynesian expansionary policies; intelligent pragmatism in order to generate that 100% guaranteed flood that one knows is coming when one knocks 75% off...an entire country. Ethics spotless. National hero. Points out some Kirchner graft. So long buddy. We'll take it from here. Argentina? silence. gl next time.

  • Borrowed money and debt is put on the people and when it cannot be re-paid the people suffer for it and screwed, by getting their savings taken away!!!! While at this time the insiders are bicylcling funds and getting rich off the people.

  • @pacificcapital1 sounds like a progressive ideal to me

  • @flightstudios interesting... so is privatization better? I think a balance is needed but we all know it'll never happen.

  • THE COLLAPSE IN 2001 OF AN ARGENTINE GOVERNMENT BY AN ARGENTINE RETART PRESIDENT BY THE NAME OF DE LA RUA. AS SHOWN ARGENTINE POLICE OFFICERS LACK RESPECT FOR SENIOR CITIZENS THAT ARE WOMEN. • where are the people's guns?

  • im not taling about banks, investment funds, whatever... im talking about people just like you and me. its not only about the argentine people, its also about ordinary people who bought their debt and didnt get paid in the end. but ok man... no heart feelings =P

  • them bitches are always collapsing! argentines are pussies!

  • when it cant pay your mortgage they take your house away right? its fair, if you dont have money to pay for a house why should you be own one? countries are the same thing. they spend way more than they can, why should they have a country with huge number of public servants, building infrastructures as they the richest, host worldwide stupidly expensive events? Pretend to be rich when they're not? IMF is not needed, but borrowing money should be denied in these cases. In the end its war anyway!

  • @francopena J.P Morgan is that you? Back to your grave blood-thirsty vampire

  • @godwratherror think only about this... imgaine you have put all your life savings in argentine bonds. you've worked for 30yeards in a factory and now your daughter wants to go to college. you're good you have your money in "safe national bonds" right? fuck they cant pay you. fuck your daughter cant go to college, fuck she'll have to be a factory worker just like you instead of having the chance of pursuing her dream of being a doctor. everything because of these menem and cavallo.

  • @godwratherror so poor argentina, im with you guys on that but some of the guys who borrowed them money were also fiercely screwed. solution? i dont have it but i think we should always look for both sides of the story.

  • @francopena If you continue saying that the organization that borrowed them money, lost them, you don t know what you are talking about. Simple as that. I won t argue further in here. Go inform yourself first.

  • The IMF and the World Bank needs to be dissolved, It does more harm then good only for the benefit US. Empire.

  • @blkhat117 Wrong, they do not benefit the us empire.

  • @blkhat117 ....What Empire? We Broke As Hell Over Here Too...Except The Wealthiest & Elite Families That Is...Ahaha...I Just Had To Eat Instant Mashed Potatoes For A Whole Week...Ran Out Of Milk Halfway Through....

  • @blkhat117 Plenty of Americans want to dissolve AND QUIT funding the IMF, World Bank and UN b/c of their socialist, anti-American, socialist, one world order policies.

  • @blkhat117 It doesn't benefit the "US Empire" - it benefits the *Zionist* Empire which the US is just as much a victim of as any other country - it just happens to be their main base of operations at this point. Zionism is the true bane of the world. Search for "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" and read it - it's only 36 pages. The Zionists have laid out what they are doing and what their end goals are. They are experts at hiding behind others - but are the true evil we face.

  • @chillinator Zionist or not Do you not agree about the IMF, World Bank, Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commission and the Rothschild's these are entity's that are known the world over but yet I don't see anyone taking a stance against them maybe these are the Zionist you're talking about, they re not hiding behind any one, they are heads of state, heads of the military, heads of multinational corporations and heads of global financial institutions. so when I say US Empire I mean these people.

  • el pueblo no debe temerle al gobierno,

el gobierno debe temerle al pueblo!!

  • no ala discriminacion!!
