This is not a bad cover, but i think original version is a million times better, this one sounds so hollow and empty (for example acoustic guitars on the begining and vocals). Warrel has really powerfull voice full of emotions, and that is hard to cover.
ATR did a good job covering this song. However, the lead singer does not have Vibratto, something that this song clearly needs, and one of the things that makes this song unique....also his voice is a little soft.....listen to the origional song....it's so much more passionate and deliberate...this one not so much....the band did a spot on cover...but then again all they have to do is play the music....the true burdon falls on the vocalist when attempting a cover.
I find it very ironic that there is so much hating going in the comments section of a song pleading to "leave the hate behind". If you are truly a fan of this SONG (I don't care who's singing it), then you should understand that this song is 100% about the lyrics and meaning. Listen people, quit arguing, turn on your favorite version of the song and "leave the hate behind".

ATR even said they did this cover because this is a song they like, and fans like you are obviously more interested in the fact that ATR is in the mainstream and it helps your social status to "like" them. ATR would definately be dissappointed in what you are saying right now. People don't do covers of songs to make them better, they do covers because they feel like paying tribute to a great song.

The only song I really had trouble with and actually needed all of the tabs 4 was this song. One day I was shown Nevermore ( the song I was shown was Believe in Nothing too), I was like oh cool it's an ATR cover, turns out it was the other way around. I love both bands but Jeff Loomis IS the best guitarist

Yes, this rendition in Believe in Nothing is fairly good, I expected more worse of a slaughter by these guys, but the two versions are almost the same apart from the vocals. And Warrel Dane's voice really captures the essence, atmosphere, and emotion that the song was MEANT to be for. I know Dane's voice is an acquired taste, but he totally blows this guy out of the water.

Ok, half the people are ripping on all that remains' cover. It's called a cover...for a reason...they obviously have respect enough for nevermore to cover their song. It's not supposed to be the original, it's their version, and it sounds just fine for a cover and they did a good job, all that remains is a great band and so is nevermore. The voices are different good job I don't think anyone noticed that...
