There hasn't been a TV show for kids like it. Absolute class, and forget the recent US Movie remake. Pathetic. Only the Brits could redo the Thunderbirds (I'm not a Brit by the way).

i saw this tv show last night for the first time and my first reaction was team america.

In '66-'67 I lived in Holland & went w/my mom to Kent, England to visit my aunt. It was here that I saw this show. I was so enamored that I had a TB #2 (my fave) toy replica. Lord knows what happened to that thing, or any other of the 100's of toys that were bought for me in the 60's.

Yeah, you'll find out that most of the special effects guys who worked with Gerry Anderson are those who pioneered many aspects of special effects for Hollywood..that's why England is the Mecca for special effects! Heroic show!
