Few years later i still listen to this tune with same admiration, celestial voices, guitars only where it need to be,seem's to be created yesterday. Thanks for remembering my youth(was 19 );time pass so quick.

Timeless masterpiece by His Majesty Sir Paddy McAloon. Most songwriters, musicians, pop and rock stars and musicians of any genre and age should kneel in front of this unsung giant, then shut up, listen carefully and learn, because there's so much to learn!! And same with Martin, naturally.
Your dad has good taste. Pre Fab is excellent. Try STARS from Canada, They are often compared to the prefabs tweak, and yes beo the Blue Nile is excellent. Tinsel Town in the Rain..... I saw them live in the 80s
wow i think i'm the only teenager who listens to prefab's stuff! well i guess i should blame (more like give credit to) my dad for introducing me to Prefab Sprout and Level 42 and Living in a Box and whatever else he listens to.
almost have all their albums... i had two copies of this album... one was steve mcqueen the other was two wheels good... two wheels good had an additional song called he'll have to go.
i gave the other copy to a girl i used to know... she's married now...
this is genius beyond genius. I love you Paddy and co. Let me know if you need a drummer. I'm a pro drummer living in L.A. But will relocate to be part of the magic
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Steve McQueen is one of the most overrated albums from the eighties.

I just wish Paddy did an acoustic version of this song in the remixed Steve McQueen album. I really love this song and Bonny, too!
