  • doesnt he know not to drift on an asphault track???????????????

  • Nothing better than a wadded up mud flinger.

  • if this was dirt racing he would just drive it off the wall and keep going

  • @1Cgeislerfan well sir,its a dirt car. he can not drive it off the wall as of he is not 'on' the wall.

  • At first I was thinking, "He's gonna need some new rear tires..." then he crashed, "and a new left side!'

  • Dirt is for racing, asphalt is for getting there.

  • woops, little wall kiss, not too bad. Wicked show :D

  • thx for the vid !

  • LMMFAO!!!!!! Who taught this clown how to race pavement?! LMFTAO!!!

  • Asphalts for gettin' to the Dirt Track!

  • COOLEST SHIT EVER.

  • 505197 i run a mod and if u learn how they work all them links make it easy and yes they are hard to drive, but leafs are not the answer if u want leafs, run a street orsuper street bomber or somethin leafs are a thing of the past and outdated if ya wanna go fast figure out the four link system

  • dumb ass but kool tho

  • looks like fun... to bad they don't have like 10 lap heats where you have to smoke'em in the corners... that would be interesting... go through tires like mad... but thats what blisters are for right?

  • lol wrut row!!!

  • Stalled her, man that sucks. But thats what happens running meth and direct drive.

  • I never get tired of watching this video!

  • nothin like puttin down some nice rubber for the other classes!!!!

  • My brother is nuts!!! LOL. But that is great :)

  • see that asphalt guys thats how you enter a corner! :D

  • @mower26 haha hell yeah i dont think his tires were gonna take to much of that

  • @mower26 Yeah and thats usually the end result you get running corners like that on asphalt.

  • @celica49 nah it was working fine he just got overconfident not necessarily the fastest but the coolest :) plus a dirtcar setup right for pavement will smoke any pavement car

  • @mower26 well fuckin said!

  • he had to be running hte hard compound tires on there insted of softs to last that long. here im mn i run a dirt late model and my family runs modifieds and they chew there tires up good dont know how he lasted that long.

  • @fuzznutz74 hes running on hoosier 970s. the same tire the asphalt late model, modified, and pro stock guys are on.

  • hahahaha shame

  • he must have roasted those tires off. im guessing that he kept the dirt tires on?

  • Slower is faster.........

  • that was cool, suck he wrecked at the end...

  • I love how at the end someone says ruh roh

  • cool

  • thats why dirt cars are faster because they are built to carry speed through the corners

  • lol dude dirt cars arent built to carry speed through the turns, they are designed to get the best possible traction given you no how to set them up, i race Dirt modifieds man different racecars are built for different applications

  • @724Brandt724 if your dirt cars aren't built to carry speed through the corners, you're building them wrong and that's why you're getting beat. Look at the fast guys and where they're doing all their passing. probably in the middle through the exit of the corner. They got the same forward bite as you do, but are probably carrying another 4-5 mph through the middle, which is why they're faster coming off.

  • @GnarlyCarM1 Yeah I read that guys comment and I pretty much said "Wtf is this guy smokin?" Prob just a lil kid or something...

  • @GnarlyCarM1 How can you assume same forward bite for cars you've never seen? Dirt mods have gotten out of hand, I'd put them on leafs with coil overs and screw all them links, make it easier. Them damn things have gotten so jacked out of shape they look awful, they have more yellows then any class I've seen and it's cause they are so hard to drive. Put birdcages on them , run the ass square, have lift bars or pull rods, then go slide them around and have fun, put on a good show, win win.

  • @505197 i dont know where you live but modifieds cause the least accidents around here

  • @505197 it really depends on which dirt mods and what tracks. Up at Lebanon Valley Speedway they actually have far less cautions than any other series... and they have 800hp and put on a great show. It gets strung out single file sometimes, but there's usually always a battle for the win towards the end.

  • haha when i was watching this i was just thinking if an entire pack drove like that in a race you wouldnt be able to see shit

  • yup that'll happen when you spend laps getting the rubber melting hot on the rear of the car. Race dirt, this is another reason racing on blacktop blows.

  • yeah ok they do that on dirt ALL THE TIME. and it doesn't reek of burned rubber. Do it in the dirt!

  • so dirt dont get as hot like asphalt does. duhh!

  • that was awesome .hope he didn't hurt it too bad.

  • Wow he took that thing out like he was racing at eldora or something

  • this is a nice track where is it?

  • This was at Owosso Speedway in Ovid, Michigan.

  • @kevinp83 I LIVE IN KENTUCKY AND I HAVE BEEN TO THIS TRACK! MY GRANDPA LIVES RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD FROM IT AND EVERY TIME I GO UP THERE WE END UP SPENDIN THE SATURDAY NIGHT THERE, AND IS TRULY A NICE TRACK

  • 1:21 Did I hear (r)Astro in the crowd?

  • @26Racin26 check out oswego speedway. its the nicest local track ive ever been too. its a beautiful facility

  • Wow that was cool shit though, what a great driver!

  • wow nice drifting!!!

  • i miss going to the races with him.

  • Dirt cars are not meant to power-slide around the corners on pavement! I'm really surprised he went as many laps as he did without crashing! At the same time though, it would be fun watching about 30 of those things at the same time racing on pavement like that! Imagine the tire smoke!

  • imagine the cluster fuck lol

  • Tht was awsome tht guy should start drifting

  • its cause the car is set up for dirt

  • thats some sick driving.

sounded like the engine died right before he spun???

  • Holy shit, that was fucking kick ass! He's got balls to run a dirt mod on pavement, and to drive like that, That was so awesome to see! :D

  • not much left of those tires after that :]

  • lol at the end

    "rut roh!"

  • I agree, that makes the whole video. Fun... crash... commentary.

  • very nice he just created another drift class nice run

  • Man he had some good rubber to last that many laps

  • just a set of hoosier 970s. brand new that night haha.

  • that was fricken crazy

  • i would hate to be the guy buying tires for that car. lol

  • I wanna see his lap times vs lap times of an asphalt mod.....this is frickin awesome.

  • he just invented a new class in the drifting series.

  • if it's any consolation, he was running dead last in the B feature non transfer race... he did this during a intermission

  • Were You There?

  • Yeah... I took the video

  • @kevinp83 did the engine let go? it sounded like it cut before he spun

  • nice

    .

  • Don't they run IMCA Modifieds at Dodge City Raceway on asphalt?

  • he wasn't loose he did that on purpose

  • You're kidding.....

  • lol

  • there was also a dirt street stock there too, he wasnt as loose as this car was though. after the tires warmed up he tightened up. still a badass show!!

  • As far as i know after he won one of the triple crown races at Mt. Pleasant they said it was a 3-link.

  • is that a 4-link car

  • Man he put on a show too!

  • Glad Rick was Ok. that hit was hard!
