The dancers are Allan Tornsberg (Denmark) and Serena Lecca (Italy). They were one of the best professional Latin ballroom dancers in the 1990's and early 2000's. Serena was a legend for her beautiful dance lines.

Walter Laird wrote a book about Latin Dancing for competition.

BASIC means to dance the steps of Walter, and only these steps, NO complicaded figures ...

This is SLOWED town to get what they are doing.

This is a basic jive, however it doesn't look very 'jivey' because of how slow it is. If you used a faster song and sped up the dance you would be able to see how fast it can be

@lukacepin94 Basic means that they do not use any advanced moves. Thus that do not means that average dancer coul do that. They are both professionals.

Hmm.. this is more like wcs music. i guess it is what interpretation of music is. they are doing more "slot" steps a la WCS style. regardless, this really show how wcs and jive is related.
