I had to start the game over because Laura died and there was no way I could prevent it whether I restarted or anything because I battle saved when I only could move Leo at the rear, and she really saves up on using items. DX

Your making good use of the "Shove" ability. Very good use. By the way, all the battles I see with Leonardo have the skill "Cancel" in each attack, what does "Cancel" even do?

Basically it causes your enemies to lose their turn. Not much use though if they attack first lol

Arrrrrrrgh!!!! I hate this part! I'm trying to get through without anybody dieing, but my Leo is too weak! And if I spend too much time protecting the weak, one of my strong guys die, like the last time with Edward! Stupid move on my part. Left him exposed to the boss.

Just don't even choose him during the preparations. That's what I did with Meg because I didn't want to spend my whole battle just protecting someone

the characters i always train for the dawn brigade are leonardo, edward, and volug. i sometimes train nolan because i need him to get strong so he can be a bit useful.

it's just personal preference. by the endgame of part one, i have both leo and eddie at second tier and volug at level 24. also, nolan at level 14-16 and aran at level 18. i never really bother to train Micaiah, but i do use her sometimes.
