Good God, how high was that Chinook blast???? Looks like you had all the time in the world to play with a camera, smoke a cigarette and 'rub one out' if ya wanted to......lol. I had one Chinook blast in 5 years in 82nd and we did jump from 1,250' rather than the usual 800' but we still didn't have that much time under canopy. That HAD to be over 1,500'.

First the pathfinders jump or fast rope establish an LZ. Then the infantry and the scouts go. After that comes the artillery they jump then their guns and trucks are dropped.
