Gender is NOT between the ears. Gender is genetic. You either have paired, double-X (female) or XY (male) chromosomes.
A true trans-gender has extra X or Y chromosomes. An XXY (i.e. Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, AIS) is born with male gonads (testes) in varying degrees of development & fertility.
A male (XY) with multi-Y chromosomes (e.g. XYY) is asymptomatic.
There are no single or double-Y humans (single X is female with Turner's syndrome).
