Sportsters are utter shit. Mine has rusted so bad Ive gotta get it all repainted. The rear mudguard rusted, the chrome fell off the rear wheel, mirrors bubbled, the laquer on forks failed and the alloy corroded, the chainguard rusted, front rim rusted through etc. My Sportster is an 04 and is kept in a garage. The metal has only one coat of (shit) paint with no primer. It has no chance against UK weather. Come on HD pull your fucking socks up

have the same bike and have put on the same exaust and air cleaner,fuel pack!!
I have put on a drag bar on mine and it looks awesome,the stearing feels better to!

I have 16" apes on my '07 1200C and it is actually a lot more comfortable than the stock bars. Don't get me wrong though, it is a reach!

I wouldnt go as far as ape hangers. id go with maybe Wild 1 chubby 10 inch - 12 inch. ten looks a bit better on a sportster.
