It's hair plucking. You do it automatically with your nervous energy, and sometimes you're not even aware you're doing it. You'll stop by becoming more aware of your hands. Eventually you'll be aware of it as soon as you touch your hair. Unfortunately, you wont give a shit about willpower when you're having a bad day, and you'll do it anyway. The real solution is to end the depression/anxiety by completely believing people when they tell you how beautiful/intelligent/funny you are. GL!

People hide those problems using those addictions. Everyone has at some point, yet they deal with it differently and grow onto the activities which makes them 'addictions', such as shopping or playing alot of video games.
It's all about micro-management. To see what's the good and what's the dirt and acting out on the good.

Well if its not self destructive then its not bad, it could probably be your passion. If you think its self destructive then try doing some good hobbys or do something fun. I stoped with the internet because I had a busy life and...hang out with friends or go to the movies or fous on other goals like try to get beter and better at running. Just know that it will help you, liketry to run a mile without stoping, then 2mile, then 3 and so on.
Just try to keep yourself busy.Because there is a reason why you are doing it. Just think of the moments when you are not doing it. I bet your probably content or somthing.
$* It takes 21 days to Instill a new habbit or to break an old one. Keep yourself busy for 21 days and you will change your psychological programing throughout your day. Because you are psychologically programed to think certain thoughts everyday same and same until you are introduced to somthing new.
This is why I talk about influencing your thoughts and thinking what you want to think. When you think what you want to think you are changing the programing. "When you havent thought of somthing for a long time, then it gets harer and harder to remmeber or think back to it, or even feel it"

I'd go work on something, or read, or play games, anything BUT wut my addiction was. & over a period of about a month, my urges got less & less till they were completely gone. U just have to know and tell yourself that though u feel the addiction now, if you keep it up, soon you wont, and you can move on with your life and not have to worry about it anymore

Any addiction is difficult to deal with, whether physical or psychological. Are you the slave of "it" or are you the one making orders? Stand up and take charge. Addiction keeps you in a cage filled with darkness chained and bonded so you do whatever "it" wants. All I can say is take charge, force changing habits and DO IT NOW. It depends on you but, praying can also help. It worked on me in the passed. Hope this helped. One person can change anything, bad or good, remember that.
