Hello Dolly! My husband and I don't have rings yet, either. We borrowed my folks when we got married for the ceremony. We thought that for our one year aniv. we'd both have jobs and be able to buy some, but that came and went and we were still just as poor as before. We're still saving up to get really nice ones, not dinky, make-do ones. I say, we're still married, ring or no ring, so there's something more between us besides gold. Sometimes its nice to be a little unconventional.
