i'll go see this show when they finally see the light and take out those male dancers with the cheesy looking fringed jumpsuits. Producers of shows with Elvis have to understand that only Elvis could get by wearing a jumpsuit. Anyone else comes off very cheap and cheesy. Dignify Elvis. No cheesy! Better yet, leave ALL jumpsuits out of the show. Period.

I also saw this show in Vegas..I was so happy that is was pure Elvis no one to play him..the musicians especially the drummer were amazing I have no words to describe the talent in this show..

I saw this show live back in Jan. of this year. It was a tribute like no other to the king. My hat goes off to Cirque for not using anyone to play Elvis for this show. It was all Elvis all the way through, with live musicians bringing back the old Las Vegas show quality..........fit for The King!!

Firstly excuse my poor english.I wanted to say that most of those "stars" nowadays are choosing their words very carefully not to praise The King too much - right out of jealousy? We the fans may not be "stars" like them but we are not dumb. We can see it, hear it and feel it. It's still a miracle for them how a guy whose artistic career that overall lasted 20 yrs - but spent only 10 yrs thereof on stage is still loved by millions over the world after 33 yrs of his death and called THE KING.

@Jamesyitu You will only like it if it's your first time seeing a show in Vegas. If you have seen the other Cirques, you will be disappointed with this one. Sorry. I didn't like it. It lacked in all of the cool acrobatic tricks they use in their other shows. If you want to see a WAY better Cirque show similar to this, go see LOVE at the Mirage. That is hands down the best show in Vegas.

Can some one give me a positive review of Viva Elvis. I have only heard pretty bad things about this show.Specially when it comes to the choreography.People and critics keep saying it does not look anything like a Cirque show , that it looks like a High School talent show....any good comments ...anyone......

@CaraMia771 This is absolutely the most talented and fantastic group of dancers I have ever seen. Tabitha and Napoleon are the Choreographers for most of this show and I can assure you that when the actual professional dancers are on the stage they are busting their asses and as a dancer myself I can appreciate every second. The entire show is fantastic and I was literally jumping out of my sea the whole time wanting to dance.

@CaraMia771 I went this summer to see Viva Elvis!I liked it ALOT,but I agree with the critics that there could've been less singers & more acts. You should go to Las Vegas to watch it! Because not only can you watch"Viva Elvis" there's also an official Elvis store in ARIA Hotel right next to the theatre & a "Gold Lounge", a lounge created in the essence of Graceland(it's decorated very nicely and has a gold portrait of Elvis there) & there's also a bust of Elvis when you walk from the casino!

Elvis recorded hundreds of great songs His music could live on and each generation could have thier OWN Elvis music. But everythings a history lesson a an anniversary a commemoration of the past. Another excuse to promote the same stuff.. This show looks good but its not going to reach us here in England and I wouldn't go and see even it if it did. It looks glitzier than a laserbeam jumpsuit. I'd rather have a DVD boxed set of unlreased stuff from the Movies & In Concert .

I'm an Elvis fan also. And I'm happy his memory is as strong as it is still and his popularity is still expanding into new generations. But it's my opinion that Elvis' talent alone is the reason for it.

These ridiculous stage productions are simply money makers for people like Priscilla who Elvis would have never wanted involved with his legacy in any way. She is exploiting Elvis for money and acting like it's for Elvis and his fans. I don't buy it for a second. I know how you feel and I agree.
