I've played wow for about 4 months and DAoC for 2 days (doin a trial :P) and i can honestly say this looks more interesting. i like the concept of pvp victories actually having a lasting effect, and it seems there are less 12 year olds screaming PWNT NOOB!! or something

I'm saying it is looking to be very good. The guys at Mythic have put their hearts into this one for sure. THe gameplay mechanics are smooth like wow but the RVR is more like DAoC. I think that combination is "nasty".

PvP gives great xp. However, you'll reach max level fast in daoc and then it's all about the endgame (rvr).

The level cap in daoc is 50.

Then there's 10 Masterlevels and 10 Championlevels that adds some bonuses and abilities, but you will still remain lvl 50.

There's alot to know about daoc. Feel free to PM me (or ask right here) with any questions. I've been playing daoc since beta so i guess i should be able to answer anything really :)

well, warhammer is newer and will have a bigger playerbase etc.

I'm going to play warhammer once it's released tbh. It's the same company that makes daoc btw, so i have high expectations of it :P

This is the japanese server Akatsuki server btw. And that is rvr, still happens now, I play in Merlin, Lancelot, Pellinor, Gareth classics and u find epic battles all the time still, just last night we took our relics back from Midgard in Gareth, i play albs there and we had like 60 albs vs 50 mids at least with hibs assjamming in with maybe 30s hibs or so. Lots of fun...
