Olivia here is something to work on let's have a link to warp one for each major channel (were is that feature anyway) have it bring up videos totally randomly one can switch back to the home page to view promoted videos. This would be the best of both worlds nobody can say youtube wants to control views. Hunting for videos randomly is so much fun and the warp feature make that so much better. One of thing that make your site so popular is that you never know what you may run into

Gee, another way for YT to use it's site to manipulate and control the content of the news! I've seen what YT has done to constrain and limit the postings on YT. Now YT will feature what it likes, limit what it doesn't like, and kick out the rest. Look what YT did with the Face the Candidates page. Look what YT's done with the Politics and News feature. It sucks. Foreign language videos have replaced english language videos. Now the reporting videos will replace news videos. Get more, have less.

Yes, I understand your point, but with the introduction of the Reporter Channel there will be very direct competition WITH reporters and journalists trained in the mainstream media, its going to encourage them in!

The Reporter Channel is going to be THE place where aspiring reporters (and existing ones) will cut (or sharpen) their teeth... It will raise their profiles above their competitors, you can't blame THEM. :)

Ok I just changed my channel to REPORTER, LOL now what? maybe I can get more then 3 playlists per channel, oh how about if I click on the icon in the playlist it will open its videos, how about a way to organize news video, by time, location, subject, I know Youtube will hate this, A video player that will play high def 16.9 aspect ratio videos, that will not down sized the clips with big fat black distracting bars top and bottom, lol, how about a big banner like you have.
