Bootcamp has to be the most under-rated band in the history of music. I never even heard of these guys during the 80s -- but they're so much better than a lot of other bands that hit it a lot bigger than they did. I guess it's better that I discover their music 30 years late than never. I even went on Google Street View to see the place where they filmed this video -- as near as I can tell it was at about 416 East Baltimore Street in Baltimore, MD.
I was probably stumbling down this street (the block) dead drunk, within a few weeks of BootCamp making this video. Good job boys. Hey, you didn't run into that hooker that wanted me to eat a corn chip out of her.... never mind.

omg - im so not ragging on this band or its fans, but this is completely cheeeeezy. listen to the lead singers voice - hilarious. and the dude with the mustache, scary. i guess there's a place for this kind of music video - its definitely not today. but hey - i watched the entire thing. i guess there's a generation gap or two between this and now.
I'll assume your intelligence weaves within the mustache & perms these guys are sporting in this - yes - cheeeeeezy video. i wasn't ragging on the band, but since youre showing us how incredibly adult you are with your intellect and 3rd grade response, one can only assume youre possibly 1. in the band. 2. some invisible local w just a slight education or 3. a rock and roll god from the 70's that's holding on to the night. :) "good music like this and CCR" hmmm, correct answer: 2.
Another lost classic. This has got to be one of the cheesiest videos ever, but to a 12 year-old kid living in central Wisconsin in '81 -- it was cool as hell.
Actually it was the 43rd video. Juice Newton was 41st.

I need to get a copy for this video. I am a high profile DJ and would love to feature them in m.y shows around the world. I love this song.

Really captures the early 80s atmosphere. You could even smell it from here. The neons, the hang-outs, etc.
