@GiantDoucheNG It's hilarious, isn't it? I've done this training. It's a basic method to get one to relax whilst being punched. The hitter has to relax his/her punch and the receiver has to be a punch bag/moving target, & relax from what eventually become very hard blows. Good punches hurt, which builds tension in the body, enabling the next attack to hurt more, so one must learn techniques to cope with this & develop other skills for further combat. Trust me, it works, but it's silly looking.

my coach is certified under the guy that is teaching. they hurt. this is about learning to take punches dumb ass. not about power. hes showing them drills. why don't u train before u assume something. they hurt. i know.

Some of them are surface punches, I have trained in Toronto at vladimirs school. They do hit MUCH harder - I have lots of bruises to prove it. I have done other martial arts too (aikido, Karate, Kungfu, MMA)and have been hit numerous times but the systema strikes seem to be very powerful without a lot of muscle or distance. This video just shows a training drill
