What most people fail to remember is that the "House of Israel" is laden with ritual and temple worship. Modern Israel would have also many of those temple rites restored into their perfected forms of restitution along with anything else that existed in the primitive church namely apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists and so forth as outlined in the New Test. I don't fear the Free Masons, quite the opposite. Church members are raised on the untruth that their are "similarities" in their ceremonies and the Mason's because the Masons "passed down" the original ceremony over the centuries from the era of Kind David. @Millipedecult - that scripture dooms the mission of Jesus Christ if applied to Mary and Joseph receiving an angelic messenger because Jesus came and preached a different gospel. Any good Jew knows that Jesus preached a different gospel. The problem with reading Galatians 1: 6-9 is that no one can take you seriously. You read this verse seriously out of context, you forget chapters 2 and 3 which helps clarify it, most of Acts, and ignoring that Peter, Paul, John, and others saw MANY angels!

What I was saying is: "Modern day Free Masons" added new rituals in the 17th century...that would be in the mid 1600's...that's NOT ancient times. The MASON's added NEW rituals...not by revelation. J.S. used those "new" rituals in creating the pre 1990 temple ceremony and then claimed it was "restored". Not possible, since the new rituals didn't exist in ancient times.

I don't fear the Free Masons, quite the opposite. Church members are raised on the untruth that their are "similarities" in their ceremonies and the Mason's because the Masons "passed down" the original ceremony over the centuries from the era of Kind David. Then J.S. "restored" the original ceremony through revelation from God. This can't be true because some of the Mason's rituals were "added" in the 17th century...but "showed up" in the Mormon rituals as part of the "restored" rituals. Hmm..

Mainstream Christians and Jews have the mists of time to cushion any inspection of their peculiar stories.We've got accustomed to the Red Sea parting, Lazarus rising. It was all so long ago. The patina of antiquity, backed up by great religious institutions reaching back a thousand years or more, bequeaths respectability.

Masons worship a god not the God. They believe they can become a God. Rightly dividing truth for them selfs. Because they are at the top they feel as though they can make and change reality. they believe in truth as long as it fits there own idea of truth. I believe it was the Masons that tarred and feathered Mr.
Smith and then went on to killed him. There was a mob of Masons out side the Jail and he gave the sign for help and no one came to his aid. I could go on..

The arguments are tired and boring; refuted time and time again. The law of Plural Marriage has always been greatly misunderstood, even by Christians brandishing a bible and call it scripture (forgetting much of the Old Testament I may add) there is nothing really save your word only or the words of others like yourself to condemn the man.

They used men who gave testimony against Jesus and they did not question their credibility and he was 100% guilty without a defense but what exists today are the facts and none of them are hiding; they are simply being interpreted and subject to assessment. "The Nauvoo Endowment Companies, a Documentary History...." a book by Mormons for Mormons clearly delineates JS many marriages and those marriages of zillions of other Mormons. Polygamy was packed in the prairie schooners and pampers of pilgrims prancing to Utah. There are so many testimonies of Mormon women saying they married JS. Did everyone but JS practice polygamy? the real question is who amongst the hierarchy didn't practice it

Also there´s a lot of rumors. It´s uncertain what is true and what isn´t.
And the antimormons are taking advantage of that.

@dorisfenella - yes but this is the point entirely! Anti-Mormons suggest that those things ARE what we teach but we do not. It does not make those events of church history ANY LESS relevant. At church, it's all about Salvation and Sticking to the basics. Nothing is HIDDEN... nothing is KEPT from our knowledge. The only thing that they admonish is that we take those things, events, and happenings with a grain of salt and understand that our assessment of the matter is better than the quitters'.

Mormon leader Joseph Smith was a Freemason (Scottish Rite), its well documented that the illuminati order is part of Freemasonry (study Albert Pike). So ask your missionaries or Bishop's why was Joseph Smith apart of the Freemason order when, 1: Freemasonry is an occult belief not a religion, 2: Freemasons worship Lucifer, 3: Why didn't Joseph expose the Freemason occult when he started the Church, 4: Why are Masonic symbols and teachings evident in Mormon temples and churches.

@THELDSLIFE I just watched part 3. This is what I have to say. The symbols on the temple veil correspond exactly in shape and almost exactly in meaning with certain tools and moments in a masonic ritual. Also, what happens at the veil, including position assumed is identical to a masonic ritual. Only the words are different since masonry is not religion and mormonism is. Problem is for more details I would have to disrespect either mormons or masons. I would do neither.
