my heart bounce, love it! saw them 2 times live in Germany, and nobody belive that they are really live as good at on CD. Respeckt to the eagles. they are only fantastic musicians in it.
Awesome awesoem AWESOME it is to see ALL of the Eagles onstage together. However, I wish "unoffical Eagle" JD Souther was there, too. Many fans do NOT know that the hit "Take It To The Limit" was sung my Randy Meissner far left) or that Bernie Leadon (far right) was the band's first lead guitarist before Don Felder or Joe Walsh came along. Those are some of the best vocal harmonies in music history!
I really miss Felder, he was my favorite Eagle and such an underrated guitarist. I listened to Long road Out of Eden and was very dissapointed, especially when I found out How Long was recorded in the 70's and then shelved. The one standout song was Waiting In the Weeds and is actually incredible.
Keep in mind, that Randy Meisner had left the band in the 70s, at the eagles peak. They r only in this video 4 the Eagles induction in2 the Hall Of Fame
Great production. Huge talents. Let's not forget, this is the corporate music business. The players don't have much say as to You Tube posts. It's the executives wanting to wring every last dime out of their property. That's just my guess. Just enjoy. I've always been a huge Eagles music fan.
They still sound this good live, believe me. They will do a 40th Anniversary tour this year, so go see it, You won't be disappointed. It may be their last tour.
When they were asked if they thought Meisner and Leadon should be a part of the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Felder and Schmidt said absolutely. Walsh said "HELL YES....Bernie was more responsible for this award than I ever could've been!"
Is it just me or do they sound even better with the whole seven in harmony or what?Probably 2 of the best versions of those songs live I've ever heard.I remember when Bernie had to carry the Lead on take it easy on his own,HE DID A GREAT JOB.But with the 3 guns there and the extra acoustic's I thought the sound was fantastic. Its just a sample of just how good they could be if they put there ego's aside and just played together.I guess the almighty dollar means more to some hey.
@wayneo1269 the eagles seven part harmony is wicked as they make every effort to sound as good if not better than their recordings they remain the greatist country rock band to walk the earth and i would argue with anyone over my comment
@bewfordtjustice I'm with you I only wish they could put their differences aside and give their fans what they want and that is to see them all togethher on stage in a full blown concert,Bernie still refers to those guys as friends of his and its obvious Felder still wants to play with them and the same could be said for Meisner, the sticking point is Frey I think more so than Henley, from what I understand he's very hard to get on with.I guess we can only dream.
Thanks for posting this. The only time all seven of them appeared on stage at the same time I believe.
Shame Henley and Frye didn't want Bernie and Randy around. I got the impression that Joe wanted to do it, but Don and Glenn wouldn't agree. Imagine if they all would have toured?
You're right, Randy and Timothy do a great job at harmonizing together. I agree that in Take it Easy, they would have allowed him to play his lead solo because Joe got to play his solo with Felder in Hotel California. Its a treat to see all 7 together. Anyone have the "induction" video/ speech?
Fantastic upload. I've been looking for this Hall of Fame Induction performance for years. You should digitize the whole VHS tape while its still possib
@Lima190405 That was never going to happen on this night. From what i gather Glenn and Don Did not want Bernie or Randy there but others told them they couldn't do that.

I would call Glenn Frey a prick, but that's part of a man, so I guess piece of shit would be a better description.

Wish Bernie would have broken out the banjo from the original recording.

SUPERGROUP. Yes did the same in the 90's. Why the Eagles didn't keep it this way? Bernie should have played the original banjo part.
