PS: if you really want to go ahead, why don't you consider finding a job in a trans-friendly area, as the ones I cited? Independence in any human condition is the key for SUCCESS. I'm saying that as an independent trans person. Anyway, all the very best for you in whatever it is your choice for life. xx
My opinion about it all you talked about is: if one really wants it (to change the gender) he/she has FIRSTLY to get economic independence in a trans-friendly carrier, like caregiver, nursery, arts, beauty industry etc. I really don’t think it’s intelligent to start and go ahead transitioning if one has no resources at all and depends on someone else's money, principally because transitioning is a VERY expensive stuff and being jobless & pennyless is the last thing one would like to go through.
I know how hard it is when your parents give you grief, and I still have expirienced the hardship of what it's like to go out into the world and be discriminated against, but your a tough cookie and I'm sure you can be OK and do OK - stay true to yourself-as it seems you plan on doing-your happiness is paramount, everything else will fall into place.

It seems all of this discrimination is based on the sexual prudishness of the church. Ban religion and the world is a better place.
