The 'trick' (which is a term used in science for a clever piece of maths etc) to 'hide the decline' was with regards to proxy tree ring temperature readings, and was to do with whether those proxies should even be accepted, it has no bearing on the facts whether this particular proxy set is accepted or not anyways.

No need to hack/steal/leak the emails to get this information. The so called attack on oil companies aren't ad hominem attacks. I have some of your same concerns about the economy, but I don't want to just stand by while we literally go extinct. Change is often painful and many are unwilling to change their lifestyle in order to make the change. It is amazing to me that no one questions the up keep on over 700 military bases around the world and how that is such a drain of the economy. Only 10% of the Pentagon budget goes to defending our borders. The rest is all about global control for multi-national corporations.

I have no doubt that there is evidence for global warming. Also, I have no doubt that there is evidence for global cooling. Both effects may be connected but this I doubt. I abhor his politics, I support Lord Monckton's plea to those in power - have the guts to do nothing. I add that the likelihood of whatever we do having appreciable effect is small, but I do not think that CNN would broadcast that. CNN should stick to reporting on mundane events which is what they appear to be good at.

For example, scientists are still debating Einsteins theory of relativity - thats how science works.
