On 5 August, 1957: Tengku Ampuan Kursiah, the 1st Permaisuri Agong said:"The women of Malaya must take more interests in the affairs of their country after independence. Women of all races will have much more important part to play. Malay women in particular must be more progressive. I hope that with independence, they will strive to better themselves."

I like this "memorial service" idea. Brilliant! Perhaps people should organize other memorials too - to remember the passing of many other things in society that we've lost, like empathy, integrity, respect, courtesy etc...
