Women of all races will have much more important part to play. Malay women in particular must be more progressive. I hope that with independence, they will strive to better themselves."

I like this "memorial service" idea. Brilliant! Perhaps people should organize other memorials too - to remember the passing of many other things in society that we've lost, like empathy, integrity, respect, courtesy etc...
