  • what is the song at 6:21?

  • Good God, the Bishop of Battle has to have THE single worst control scheme in the history of arcade games.

  • Comment removed

  • Emillio needs an Intervention. And then again maby so do I. My name is Dan and I am addicted to BO Zombies.lol

  • Awesome! I have only vague recollections of this movie. An alternate take of "Rise Above" by Black Flag! And "Mercenaries" by Negative Trend!

  • @sherpa285 I wish I knew where to find the versions of both of those songs!!!

  • @jonp347

    That would be cool!

  • Somehow this is the most realistic depiction of what it felt like to be at video arcades in the 1980s.

  • JJ's was being a big jerk. Being so nasty to people that are just looking out for him(parents, girlfriend, buddies, etc.)

  • The lesson here kids? Don't get obsessed over a Video Game or it comes to life and traps you in the game.

  • @RetroVGamer If it was a fantasy RPG it would not be that bad. But the game he gets trapped in.

  • Totally classic. At 3:23 where Estevez says "Shine it" ...spot-on lingo for that time and place on L.A.'s Westside.

  • man, arcades were the bomb back then!

  • Damn the crazy foos that won't let him battle the bishop!

  • was that a rreally game

he should go get Tron to help him out

  • 1:36-1:39 Tupac?

  • @DestroyTheMedia not him. Tupac would have been 12 years old (born 1970)

  • ohhhhh. you have to admit it does look like him.

  • man Moon was HOT!!

  • devil video game smh

  • holy crap, I miss the neon lights in arcades. Do real arcades even exist anymore?

  • Is it just me, or just Emilio start to sound sorta like Charlie from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, around 5:50? Also, very cool version of "Rise Above"! What a ridiculous movie.

  • "Shine it Pamela, I'm not into that crap anymore"

  • Teenagers. Go figure!

  • Excellent movie. Especially like the arcade game at 3:12 that just says "RIP OFF"- it's a nice touch.

  • You can't cage the hurricane!

  • Will the Bishop of Battle be ported on the Nintendo DS? lol

  • @TechnoHajikelist Naw Dude, with the technology coming out, it's going to be ported to your BRAIN! Can your fragile mind handle the Bishop of Motherfucking Battle? No. No, it cannot.

  • can you play this game for real you know like a remake or something

  • polybius?

  • "3 minuses"...??? Whats wrong with you guys?

  • It is her...man if I was JJ...I would have have said" Screw this, 12 levels and I get jewed by a random laser blast...???....lets go baby!"

  • Ok...that should been have "screwed" not the no-no term for senstive ears/eyes.

  • On guitar....

  • I even learned from ear to play the intro from my videotape.

  • You rock man! I finally know the name of the song and band...Thanks!

  • God I loved this movie and this is my favorite part! The song he starts when he begins playing is my personal anthem for battle...Thanks to DRbiohazard for giving me name for my song!!!

  • lol cool graphics :p

  • what is the name of the song at 0:06??????????

  • 0:40-0:44

Ah, what a real video arcade used to look like.

  • Oh I so miss them old arcades!!

I'm from Europe and the last one in my city closed in 2001 but even the last years before that they mostly had only fighting&racing games and some soccer and dart tables.

We once had 4 arcades here (70'000 people) but with all these home consoles (which I do love too) people stayed at home. Never understood it really because the ambience is what mattered to me but even most of my hardcore gamer friends would lament "why pay when I can have it for free at home"!

  • @derunausstehlichekid even though i have 2 ddr pads at thome i still goto teh arcade to play also unless you hve a mame cabinet a control pad is a poor substitude for a joystick

  • @nibelung34343

I wish I could go to an arcade too! There is a gameroom in a small casino nearby but they only have slot machines. One day they put in a multi games-cabinet with Capcom classics so I played there regularly. After a while the machine was gone, guess I was the only one feeding it with coins.

Check out Roguesynapse, a cool fansite with a BoB demo+a marquee one could use for Mame. I'm thinking about buying a Mame cabinet but would prefer a Wonderboy cocktail cabinet first!

  • @uruseiranma I miss those days.

  • thats so much bullshit at 6:00. If i would of acted like that i would of been kicked out or prob. just smacked, by my mom too lol,(what youve been stealing quarters too you fucking cocksucker).

  • Emilio Estevez can talk to whoever and however he wants. He coached the hell outta that team. He showed them what team spirit is, and that a game is just a game, and to have fun out there.

  • was that girl moon unit zappa?

  • ha yeah

  • And virtually nothing has changed in 2010 . . .

  • Man, pizza sounds good right about now.

This shit is so awesome! I go home and watch youtube instead of my televsion because there's much better stuff on youtube.

  • Who is frank zappa?

  • You never heard of Frank Zappa? One of the more famous 80s songs of his was "Valley Girl".

Anyways, Frank has always named his children strange names. Moon's full name is "Moon Unit Zappa".

  • Dude could have been getting some instead of playing with his own joy stick ;)

  • Clearly you don't understand the way of the warrior...although it would have benefited him in more than one way would he have gone and had pizza with moon zappa instead of following his grand obsession. Such is the way of Emilio Estevez.

  • Is that the characters name? Moon zappa? Odd name, i didn't hear anyone say it. But ho

  • Is that the characters name? Moon zappa? Odd name, i didn't hear anyone say it. But how much you wanna bet Emilio tried to hook up with her after the director yelled cut!

  • @Highice007 she had a very famous song called "Valley Girl" that popularized ,I guess Valley slang, like "totally" "gag me with a spoon" and they are in the Valley, I assume-someone help me out-what is it? the San Bernadino valley?

  • I've always wondered... what song is that playing at the beginning of this clip, and who is it by? Anyone know?

  • The song is "I Don't Care About You" by Fear, a great Punk Rock band. Lee Ving, who is a member of Fear, also appears in this film "Nightmares" in the segment "Terror in Topanga". He also appared in the 1984 cult classic "Streets of Fire" and appeared in a lot of other films, too.

  • I meant the song at the beginning of this video clip. Not the song at the beginning of the story itself. Thanks anyway. I'm familiar with Fear though. I actually met Lee Ving once. Nice dude.

  • man ive watched this 100 times love it but serious the ishop of batt;e looks like a bad F#$ng game..lol

  • It looks interesting;Easy though,I think the problem with it being hard is that the controls look like they fall about 30 yards from the line of making sense if you ask me.

  • "Im going to get back at you. i mean it man!"
