  • thumbs up if you are a fan of dust devils

  • Is this dust devil a fake ?

  • @809380

Not at all. Dust devils in the desert can have 50-60mph winds in them.

  • thumbs up if you are randomly just surfing thruogh twsiters videos

  • For a moment I thought it had taken the woman along with the tents.

  • Dude I think weren't in Africa anymore!

  • Tornado in training

  • I love Dust Devils <3

  • yo that lady was INNN it

  • ok they're in the desert wearing dark colors...whats wrong here?

  • @systemaddictshock Although most would wear white to reflect heat however with darker colors, heat doesn't penetrate that deep. Black may be hot on surface but cool on the inside. White may be cool on surface but warm on the inside. Tan or tan-ish clothes is best of both worlds.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX not in my experience. I live in the Sonoran desert.

  • @systemaddictshock Good for you? Children don't notice those things. Explain why people that travels through desert wears dark colors. Hell, you can even google it. It's a known thing ever since human kind has lived or traveled through the desert.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX most evident that they wear layers of clothing to insulate them from the elements.

  • @systemaddictshock That is not what i asked. I asked about DARK colors not layers of clothing.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX you go out into the desert...about 115F or 46C with dark colors. Let me know how it feels.

  • @systemaddictshock Cool, avoiding the question. You obviously do not know how it is. I'm an archeologist and have been in Sahara desert for 3 months straight. No a/c, no heater, no nothing. I was just like you thinking white is the best. I tried tan, tried black, tried gray. I found tan to be the best. Feels the best, actually. Thanks for asking.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX You're not an archaeologist. If you were, then you would be able to spell your profession correctly and detail which area of study. However, I do agree that tan or "khaki" works the best in desert climate not a dark olive drab color like what these guys are wearing. The thing about the Sahara, its dry climate. if wind more than 3m/s is present, then it wouldn't matter as long as clothing is loose fitting and able to radiate heat. Now try stagnate air, guaranteed fish fry!

  • @systemaddictshock Yes, belittle me. Little did you know, I spelled archeologist correctly. Did you even cross reference? I think not. Your lack of wit in belittling is shockingly low. It's no wonder it is your trait - seeing how you avoid the question yet again. Khaki is lighter than tan. Are you mad? The colors in the video is suited for the climate. Did you even pay attention to the surroundings? God damn Arizonians.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX Here's the problem. You claim to be an Archaeologist with experience in the field. You referenced being in the Sahara Desert to establish credibility. However, you failed to present evidence. If I am going to correct somebody with research, I better damn well present my evidence. This is academics 101 and should be easy to you, yah grave robber (thats an ad hominem by me in case you forgot). I'll belittle you all day if you want.

  • @systemaddictshock This isn't a problem. The subject wasn't my profession. If it was the subject, I would of course give something. I was giving you REASON for being in Sahara desert. Stop trying to fix your inferiority complex.

  • is a dust devil danger?

  • @shkljg The most not. they can reach speed of a heavy storm, but the dangerous thing is just the stuff flying around that can hit you. the wind itself is harmless. the most dust devils aren`t that powerful, so there`s no reason to be afraid. I love them. greetings

  • Owned!

  • ...it left a trail of devastation....hahaha. Uh, not exactly...they're tents.

  • lol her pony tail got sucked up straight

  • Would have liked to be flying above the top of that one,,,2,000 fpm up at least !!

  • fail xD

  • Is that her top coming off at 00:13?

  • its weird... its so small but did so much damage!

  • lol that dust devil was an asshole for sure

  • Take that campers! No free kills for you!

  • .......... HEY DAD WHERE DID YOU PUT MY DROID PHONE

  • Poor job of capturing this, or poor job of editing.

    I'd rather see the dustdevil.

  • A dust devil in southern Alberta destroyed several well-built bungalows back in the 1980's.

  • Dude wow, must have approached sixty mph, which admittedly isn't catastrophic by any means...just pretty cool relative to what I normally perceive dust devils as being capable of.

  • jaja unlucky

  • I've seen dust devils in Las Vegas blow billboards across the highway. They can get pretty powerful.

  • @Lojikbom yeah

some winds can spike at over 100 mph

  • i've seen several similarly sized dust devils while driving around the US southwest. they were always blowing through the scrub so i had no idea that they could lift tents. i have a little more respect for their power now.

  • a 4 year old can lift a tent, i was just trying to express how unimpressed i was with it lol

  • @greeleykid but can a 4 year old can lift and throw a tent 60 feet through the air

  • @xxcurnuxx i would love to see a 4 year old throw any tent 60 feet, wind resistance alone would prevent it from happening...maybe on the moon?

  • Oh my god!!

0:11 if I was that poor girl, I wouldve blown away!

it's amazing how she wasn't sucked up, you can see her hair go straight up,

thats only a small tornado but it looks so strong!

  • dust devils cant suck you up

they dont have the power to

  • @Fezztecfilms oh its a tornado i tought its a dust devil....

  • Wow!

  • Holy fucking shit!

  • turns out some fat guy just farted behind the trees Lol

  • it looks ;ike special effects lol.

  • that was cool.

  • The reason dust devils are created is because of whats called ta hermal. A huge area of warmer air that soon rises vary rapidly and If we could see the main plum of air it would resemble a nuclear bomb with a vortex ring, Somtimes the rising senter columb can start to turn and create a very strong dust devil

  • Does anybody know how I can watch the last episode of this?

  • wow..it lifted TENTS! cause it takes a lot to do that...

  • omg!! haha anna is my cousins half sister, bless her! x

  • omg when it began did you see how close it was to the girl lol

  • Does anybody know the song that plays in the ad for this show??

  • Dang that poor gal 10 seconds in gets smashed by it! Guess that'll be a tale to tell the kids, but still that's nature for you. It'll spot you and then thinks 'okay I am gonna have a bit of fun with this lot' LOL But still by the looks of things no one was seriously hurt, thankfully.

  • That was no Mother Nature that was CHUCK NORRIS !!!!

  • This show would be a lot better if the BBC hadn't selected the biggest shower of morons the they could find.

  • Cherilyn is my teacher. shes taught me lot... shes amazing

  • that was no dust devil, that was mike hassett

  • my dad stood in one of those

    :)

  • That really is the most amazing footage i've ever seen! They are soooooo lucky to be alive, can't wait to see the show.

  • "An absolute trail of devestation".. hmm slightely over dramatic perhaps?

  • Cool!! I'll be watching. Big up Shan. x

  • AMAZING!

  • Cool. They hould have tanked it and see what it dropped ;p

  • Dust devils are immune to Camera magic plus she drew the aggro and nearly got them wiped.

  • @HueyLewisRocks i got a snow devil on film

  • This was more exciting than the one on 'Day after tomorrow'.

  • They were tornadoes, not dust devils, but they are basically the same thing. I take your point. :)

  • They're the same thing, only Dust Devils are based in dusty landscapes. Waterspouts are tornadoes above water.

  • While it's true that real tornadoes over deserts are sometimes called dust devils, this was a true dust devil; these are not related to true tornadoes. However, this dust devil was pretty strong, nonetheless.

  • Owned :D
