  • この歌は、 わたしの青春の思い出。

  • What a beautiful voice she has !!!!

  • not true. the song was written by lee hays of the weavers and his sister who remembered fragments of an old southern poem by this name.

  • John Sebris died suddenly and recently. His wife Maureen still insists he wrote most (not all )of the song and sold it to the Weavers. Anyway, at his funeral there was a beautiful vase of seven daffodils in honor of him and the song. I will miss his talent

  • your wrong we knew John and the truth

  • pretty hard to argue with someone who knows "the truth"... not to mention John.

  • Yeah, it is hard to argue against the truth, so why do you bother.

  • This is what I know about this song. It was a favorite of ours for the class of 1964, Sacred Heart Academy, Hempstead, NY I moved to Florida (Fort Myers) in 1986. I met a lady named Maureen Sebris. Turns out her husband ,John was a back up guitar player to the Clancy brothers. He really was cool and knew the words to every song. I asked " Do you know the song seven daffodils. Turns out John Sebtris wrote the song and sold it to the Wevers for 50 dollars

  • i was born 1958, i dont know how i missed this song while i was growing up.. if you happen to see mr john tell him i only heard this song in 2008 here in youtube and thank him from the bottom of my heart for such a wonderful song

  • I used to play guitar and sang this song in High school... Thanks for bringing me back those beautiful memories...

  • me too !! time gone fast.

  • I was born in Hong Kong and stay there after high school. There is a slight chance that we may know each other.

  • i was born in Hk too, so coincidence.

  • Did you happen to a guy name Roger in the 70s? Most likely you wouldn't, it would be real funny if you do (lol).

  • i think we are just the people like to play quitar and singing. Seven Daffodils is one of the beautiful song ever.
