None of the stars did (especially Leslie Howard whose British accent was evident), which is one of many gripes I have with the movie. Still loved the film, but they should've focused on actors who could actually do the regional accents than star quality.

Wow. I've lived in Texas 19 years, and I have family out in the sticks. I can hear that it's faked (dipthongs are a little too twangy), but it's still really, really good. And, it's the first time I've ever heard a Tracey impersonation that wasn't totally seamless to me. Outstanding, I mean, she's British!

She's actually going in and out of the accent. Her British accent is coming out when she discusses the other characters. Wait for the series premiere and then decide. She's not in character the entire time.

She did a character back on her HBO series, named Birdie Godsen, who lived on Dan Quayle Drive in a gated community. She home schooled her children as well. I would say that it was pretty seamless, the accent.

No, I stand by my comments. I hear you about slipping in and out, but, really, I can hear it. But, keep in mind I'm a deep fried southerner and I actually live in Texas, so my ears are pretty golden for this particular twang ;). vows and dipthongs are just a bit too bright... If she darkened them just a bit it would be dead on. Still, amazing.
