I've been a huge Stanford fan since 1990 when I was a student. The season the Cardinal beat #1 Notre Dame and the great win at CAL with two scores in the 4th QTR. I watch them from a far on DIRECTV. Some great highs and many lows since 1990, but Harbaugh has them headed in the right direction.

the sound barrier is the speed at which the sound can no longer keep up with you. in example- you're in a jet fighter, you can hear your engines until you hit the sound barrier and you hear silence because you are travelling faster than sound

Stanford didn't win that game - USC gave it to them. USC had five starters out with injuries and the Trojans were obviously looking ahead to the national title - which they still may get a piece of regardless of this fluke, thanks to their Rose Bowl blowout of Illinois. Turns out that this game means nothing to anyone but Stanford. Oh, and USC got revenge tonight by beating second-ranked Cardinal in basketball. Ouchie. We win!

Seriously, what a whiny ass bitch. Stanford was a 41 point underdog and was playing w/ a backup QB that had only made 1 completion at the college level EVER before. USC didn't give the game away, they choked it away. A team loaded with 5 star recruits choked away a national championship bid to Stanford. Your big bowl win was over the second-ranked, one-dimensional team from the Little 10 at home, hooray! You win at life!

Stanford is worse than Appalachian state because at least Appalachian state was a Division II-AA champion twice both in 2005 and 2006.  Appalachian state would beat Stanford easily. this one is more greater.
