People ask all kinds of questions and want to talk to you and get to know you, I certainly wouldn't say that I've met anybody that "hates" the country, and they would have reason to in certain parts of the region.

It doesn't matter. The Canadian Military has a proud history of service. Their army was THE most successful and got the farthest during the primary stages of D-Day during World War II. They liberated the Netherlands. Their contributions to the world will not be forgotten. Red Eye? Get a clue. Dumb show, no one watches.

It doesn't matter. The Canadian Military has a proud history of service. Their army was THE most successful and got the farthest during the primary stages of D-Day during World War II. I had no idea about this show's existence, and certainly not of their comments, until I saw this video, but I have to admit I'm surprised that they'd take a late night TV show (which have always been known to make fun of anything and everything) and make a big deal about it. These shows always act ignorant of real facts, and while I don't watch these kinds of shows, I don't see why this particular stupid comment should be any more offensive.

I am proud that i can travel the world, and when people realize I am not American, they like me. I am proud that i live in a country that is there when other countries need us, and that we do not back down in a fight.
Canada has its problems, like everywhere else.

Why would anybody in Canada think that the jerks at RedEye would be any kind of ally to Canada? That's kind of repulsive in itself.
