OMG, they really looked as if they were coming from an All-You-Can-Eat buffet for seniors, somewhere in Florida. These guys were only in their early 40s but dressed themselves horribly.
Btw, they really marketed the success they had with Kokomo a few years earlier poorly. Just a couple B-side, put together with a few oldies and bundled with their hit single as an album... the best their record company could come up with.
@sgtBilko75 I do not think they "dressed themselves" for this video. There must be some idea behind their costumes....I still have to figure it out....
@coolsweetgroovy UR craaayzy my fren or you're joking... I saw Elton do this in concert in the mid 1970's, and the crowds were STILL singing Crocodile Rock while sitting bumper to bumper on the LA freeway on the way home.. you gotta see Elton live.. n at least he did not die if and when he saw Suzy dancing with the croc and what they did to his song, D... luvya, kiddo !!((=^.^=))
So, in this video... they only ones from the original that remain are Brian Wilson (tall one), Carl Wilson (bearded one, RIP), Al Jardine (long haired) and Mike Love (brown coat)... I wonder who does the low-bass sound at the beginning and the end...
@maxletos Bruce Johnston. He joined the band in 1964 to replace Brian on tour so Brian could stay in the studio and work. Bruce effectively became the sixth Beach Boy. Bruce left in 1972, returned to the group in '79, and has remained since (Bruce and Mike are the only 'real' Beach Boys in the current touring band).

I wish Brother Records would release a Beach Boys Videography spanning their entire career. Including solo songs. Many bands already have.
