and yes, i agree, he can't even keep decent clothes to wear (but we all had troubles in the 70s)

His playing is such a mixture. Sometimes it's a bit bland (and he has made some pretty mediocre records). Some of his solos can be just noodling, yet he's capable of stuff like this. This is fantastic. In fact this whole show was great.

i completely agree with the first part, it is very much a mixture of noodling and real gems! Personally i think his playing suffered a lot during his prolonged period of alcoholism, and am not as fond of this performance as you might be, but its all a matter of opinion right haha. Drop by my channel if you like, i have posted some of his best (at least my favorite) live material bootlegged while he was with Cream =)

That's Clapton. Slowhand with a lot of Bluespower. Really really good. There's a version of this song he played somewhere in Japan in the 70's. It's longer and slower than this, and I wish I could find it somewhere. But this is also great, thanks for sharing!
