I need help is one match stick supposed to come out while the rest launches or what?

@h3llom4te you take 2 match heads, roll them in a 1"x1" piece of foil and close one end, you then put the other end on a wire ( a stretched out paperclip works) then you hold a match or flame of some sort near it and the heat makes it fly

It all depends on how much pressure is built up and released towards the top... without splitting the Al foil.

In Australia, it's smarter to set them off in your house than potentially cause a bushfire. That's where I started this off.

You could also try tightening the foil around the matches - not too tight though.

ok this isnt the maker of this vid but mine work always all the time if u take the red flash powder out of a cap ring i use 2 shots. then put it in the aluminum after it is a shell. try it! but carefull red flash powder from these is very unstable! i cant be held responsable for burns or any injury from this. i have been hurt multiple times by it!

Ahhh, that's ingenious. Match heads are a little more stable but they don't always work - largely depends on the match type.
