  • Why comment horrible things that has nothing to do with what she says hey go and get a life guys !!! I thought it wasn't that bad it made me smile in some parts lol :) good effort

  • mental health sucks

  • Get EXERCISE!

  • i feel more sorry for u lol

  • To "cure" ALL mental "illness" we need only go back to school & get degree in 1 of the mental "health" disciplines. Their degrees IMMUNIZE them from "disorders" meantime dermatologist doesn't claim his degree immunizes him against stings, sunburn or abrasion!! See--all psychiatry deals in is FAKE "illnesses" and QUACK "cures." Since only they can "diagnose" it & now we know THEY can have it also you CAN'T risk going to ANY of these QUACKS latter day Matthew Hopkins Witchfinder General types!!

  • YOU'RE FAT - Don't try and sugarcoat it coz you'll eat that too roflmfao

  • Vilift gave me what i expected from it, gave me what i needed. i really love it and love that it doesn't have any side effects.

  • leave britney alone :D

  • i am bi polar and when i was 19 wow one day i thought jesus was comimg back that was 1980 now im 48 with a husband and 2 teenagers,i was on tegretol for 20 years , i was in and out for 5 years of hospitals, i have always wanted to talk to someone about it and never have i never wasted money on psyciatrists i suffered alone. brittnay is talented and most people who are god given talenetd have to suffer for there art its so true ,only when i suffer do i get alone and get creative,

  • wow. I am sorry you have been so alone in your disease. truly. I know you weren't asking for sympathy, but I am sorry nonetheless.

  • thank you very much i feel more empowered tho because through my art i feel i can help people to inspire them ive been thruogh hell and back you know what i mean and at least you talk about it i hope brittneys mania gets more help in awareness god bless you in your future do you do an art journal you should check out suzi blutube she will inspire you like you do me

  • drugs ruined me,pot, cocaine, antis, alchohol, lsd, valium. mental illness is still a taboo subject in our society, as a sufferer myself,i find the majority of people will never get it,until someone close to them is affected or they become ill themselves. paranoia crippled my confindence, i cant function without my medication due 2 serotonum depletion. Talking about it helps though. I feel for this girl, shes been there. x

  • I've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and psychosis. Yeah, you're right. If you're diagnosed with that you don't need drugs. I've been addicted to crack cocaine. I've messed with cocaine and smoked pot a bunch. It messes with you a lot. And until you're completely off that stuff, you're not satisfied. Even today I think about how things would be better with drugs. I just gotta keep a better mind of it

  • Yeah - I read about this recently - I'm very annoyed at all of the coverage that makes fun of her mental illness. It's a step backwards - NAMI should get on these people.

  • has britney been diagnosed bi-polar?

  • I am not sure. It might just be a rumor.

  • I think brintney is displaying all the signs of rapid cycling mood it wouldnt surprise me uif they diagnose her bi-polar, it's terrible she came out of the hospital she needs treatment i hope she gets better

  • I agree!

  • Hih, whatever it was girl, u look stunning! :)

  • Hi Kristin! You look really pretty in this video. :)

  • Good video. You made some very valid observations and I appreciate your openness about your own mental health.

Do not listen to the naysayers. Especially those who do not know what it is like to struggle with mental illness.

  • Actually psychiatry helps a lot of people. If it weren't for psychiatry, I would either be DEAD right now, homeless on the streets, or just laying in my bed hallucinating! Because I stayed at a psych hospital and got treatment I can now work full-time at something I enjoy, have lots of hobbies and live a wonderful, normal life. I understand that you have a different opinion, but I would rather live the life I have now than sitting around having hallucinations and doing nothing.

  • You've got beautiful eyes :). Thanks for sharing your insights and stories.

  • thanks volcanoh! :)

  • try this out: sister site to schizophrenia dot com is pendulum dot org all about bipolar...there is a search box at the top...type in marijuana and a list of articles will pop up. let me know if you need more. :)

  • there are different combos of medicine that work for different people. usually they give bipolar people mood stabilizers. I have schizophrenia and I'm taking anti-psychotic meds plus anti-depressants plus anti-anxiety meds. they don't make everyone take meds...you can refuse treatment if you want.

  • Just goes to show, even money can't stop the misery of mental illness. her MI may affect her worse than us non public eye folks....I really hope she gets well

  • yah, I agree...it probably is worse being in the public eye...I don't envy her at all. I hope she gets better too! :)

  • You got me with the comment that people could bring blankets... that seems like as honest a desire as anyone might wish.

    You're cool, K!

  • thanks 7anby! :) yah, I say the thing about the blankets, because whenever I'm in the hospital it always seems cold temperature wise and also just cold and sterile. It is nice to have a bit of home with you when you are going through something like this, plus it is better for cuddling up in bed. :)

  • I had a break down and it sucked they took all my things D:<

my keys, money, shoe-laces, pens, everything and it sucked! My dad brought me clean clothes and they had to cleach every thing and ruined my pj pants cuz they had to take the string thing out of the waist, I was there for 2 weeks... -.-

  • ahh...I'm sorry. yah, they do take a lot of your stuff, because people will try ways of hurting themselves inside. how are you feeling now?

  • I don't read any articles about Brittany. I would feel like a vulture. But I do hope she gets her shit together for her sake and those who love her.

  • yeah, I agree.

  • Kristin, what happend to you? You look adorable, you shine! Something's different...R u in love girl? :) Tell me!!!

  • haha. thank you bossyhoss! no, i'm not in love! I wish! I was feeling chipper AND I got some new lipstick and was wearing that. maybe that's why I looked different. I also had on mascara and eyeliner :)

  • Kristin, Thanks for shedding light on WHAT mental illness IS and IS NOT. You are well spoken and use your skills to help others. I certainly feel relieved that people are getting an education. Though it sucks to suffer, perhaps she will use her fame when she gets better to help educate people.

  • thanks deb! also, i hope she does get better! I mean, I think she can, but right now I am afraid for her life...like if she was to get out of the hospital or something!

  • your totally rite but i do wish the best for every one of us with mental illnesses, i stay depressed and dont really talk to anyone but enjoyed listening to you thanks agin lillian

  • hi lilian! I'm sorry you stay depressed and don't talk...you can always talk to me if you like...if you feel up to it. i tend to quit talking to people too when i get to feeling depressed. :(

  • IchBinky, you're the coolest. You express yourself very well. I agree with what you said.

  • thank you hopemr! :)

  • yeah the media is only going to make her situation worse by being so intrusive. have they no empathy for another person's suffering? =/

  • you know, I really think they don't have any empathy!

  • she's either bipolar or experienced drug induced psychosis. whatever the case i hope she can pull her life together and that the press lays off...

  • agreed! :)

  • I don't know i just pushed Harrp to the Max and won while asleep last night.

    That feels good.

  • I totally feel for Britney and her family! I have been following her story because I like Britney, and it does look serious. How horrible to live that out in the public eye.

  • I know! Well, as the older Britney, I expect you to be following her! haha jk.! That video was so great! :)

  • That's true, the media can be really cruel and unrelenting. I can't imagine going through my problems under such a microscope. Also, when I was in the psych hold they didn't let me have anything, ipods would probably be off limits.

  • yah, sometimes they don't let much in. when was the last time you were in?

  • the media spends barrels of oil and ink and 3/4 of entire forests covering her! Sadly papparazi stuff is the only consistent market fueling our economy. i don't even want to write the tragic blonde's name. I'm sorry, I don't feel bad for her. These celebs can afford comfortable private treatment for their illnesses unlike most of us.

  • I still feel bad for her, because mental illness hurts no matter who you are, but you are right, most people can't afford fancy treatment...that is a tragedy!

  • I wanted to add, thanks for posting a video about this. We need people who actually know what they are talking about when it comes to mental health issues to be open about these things. Right now the media is doing a very poor job. In most of the coverage of Britney they've been busy making snide remarks. Because it's a mental health problem they're acting as if everything is her fault.

  • Wow! I can't believe people are making snide remarks about her! Those people suck!

  • Yeah, I've been checking google news lately. Even in the "serious" articles about her hospital visits, there are lots of insults thrown in.

  • I just commented on this on your blog. I feel so bad for Britney. I hate how the media is judging her every move when she obviously needs help. We are so lucky that we didn't have to deal with that on top of everything else. I too have gone through being on a psychiatric hold and it's a GOOD thing they made me stay for longer than 72 hours!

  • I'm glad they made you stay too! or else I probably wouldn't even know you!!! :)

  • That's a good point!

  • Kristin you are so great and I just get a big smile in my heart when I watch your videos. I feel sorry for Britney too, its a sad thing and its sad she has such a huge audience watching her go through this. I hope she can get the help she needs!

I love your hair, its as sweet as your voice :)

  • thanks so much foxy...I think everyone should send flowers to britney or something! :) heh

  • I'm drinking a delicious smoothie right now, with whipped cream!!I never had it before!

  • fabulous! I'm jealous now! :) hehe
