I just want to say, this CHESS NOW series is a good idea, but all the episodes are crap. The most entertaining part of these things are the prank calls. Nobody on the show knows what the hell they are talking about. I wanna add that i would bang the chick from ep.2. All other chicks on the show are retarded. The producer of the show is also retarded. Get some real chess players and get lessons going. Im a ranked expert at the game and i say 99.999% of the info presented on the show is useless.
I think this a great concept for a show which could get even better, although I have too many concepts and ideas for one comment. I have to ask, though- when is the next episode, in January?
Greg and Jeffery is great for the show! Best Episode ever!! Try to get Greg and Jefferys moves shown on the computer like frank suggest. SO evrybody can see cleary what they do. The callers should NOT call in to play! they should call in to ask questions to Greg and JEffery! again, Great improvemnt of the show!
Chess Now never fails to amaze the viewer. The chess discussion is now more advanced with world championship matches, passed pawns, opposition, checkmate with a rook, recommended reading being some of the topics.
Also in Chess Now tradition the live pieces are difficult to make out. The black pieces have a white color and the board is placed wrong. A white square should be in the lower right-hand corner.
omg... "wow let me interrupt you to point out how professionally you're HOLDING the pieces..." what happened to the host from episode 2? not only was she much more pleasant to the eyes but i think she would be a better host than this..
oh and what is it with the random game in the background with sounds included??
omg, bronc's bombers!? wtf!? why not just leave announcements to the beginning or end of the show, not in the middle of an explanation? and you want to remind people of the number to call? how about just using a silent text reminder showing up on screen?? how do you expect anyone to actually learn anything from this?

Yes, the camera cuts to the computer chessboard a few times in the beginning of the show, but unfortunately the pieces remain on their original squares.
4 years later, I still can't get over how awful (and thus awesome!) this show is.

I don't understand the following contradiction:
(1) A consistent complaint about the show from the viewers is not being able to see the whole board very well.
(2) There's a totally unused computer chessboard in the background!!!!
Once again, Greg and Jeffrey are saving graces of the show.
