That was the biggest single of her career and pretty much cemented her icon status. The video, the outfit, the song, etc. "Put a ring on it" is now something people say outside of the song so no it's not a boner move on his part. Neither beyonce, kanye, or taylor gave a clear explanation of this incident.. All 3 of them spoke about this is in a diplomatic way. Kanye apologizing, beyonce giving taylor her moment, and taylor not getting affected by this. Its understandable if kanye was nominated and he vocalized his anger on taylor winning the award.
