Well, I respect your interpretation of the song, but it's not about autism. Every source I've found so far except for some comments here says that the song is about Phil Coulter's son who was born with down syndrome. Down syndrome is something completely different than autism.

Yes i understand that, but both have the exact same effects on the parents, and i think down syndrome isent that bad in most case's because they have an awarness and can have a more ''intelligent'' conversation. However, my cousin (who vary in severity), 1 cant acknoledge your presence, and his brother isent too bad. And then the other one, my other uncle, is 19 and has just learned how to make his own food. Downsyndrome can be ''better'' in some cases, they still have alot of abilities.

If you listen to Phil's recitation of "The Man from God Knows Where" you will find plenty of emotion. That being said, nobody can touch Luke a sa singer, in my humble opinion. Once again, thank you Kellyoneill for all of the great music you have posted.
