@OnlyYoshi556 From what I understand, one of the factors was regarding "Star Fox Adventures" for GC, which was made by Rare. It was intended to be its own game called "Dinosaur Planet" and have nothing to do with the Star Fox franchise. Then Nintendo inexplicably forced Rare to slap the Star Fox franchise on it (if you've played the game, you know how out-of-place Starfox was). Rare was understandably unhappy about that. Shame, 'cuz the game, at face value, was actually quite good.
