  • very nice shooting! I believe the rule book states "tactical reload" and not "reload with retention" on stage 3 correct?

  • Hi Strick69

I have a few suggestions for you who can help..

First correct starting position for strings with stronger and weaker hands ( stage 1 string 5 and 7 stage 2 string 4 )

In the third stage you have to use tactical reloading..

If the first and second stage try a little faster transfer from target to target in the third bring a tactical reloading with delay in the movement of the frame I am sure you will be able to bring it down another 5-6 seconds

Best regards Vlada Vasić SOI Serbia

  • What ammo are you shooting? Do you reload? If so, what's your load? Thanks!

  • @johnsta83

I reload my own ammo. That was 124gr MG over 4.0 gr of titegroup.

  • Nice shooting.

Question: is your time of 97.08 after factoring in the additional time from points down?

    Thanks.

  • @SirLoin16oz

Yeah that time is factoring in the points.

  • @Strick69

Kick-as$, dude. After 15 years of not shooting, I got back a couple of months ago and shot a 125. Trying to drop 15 seconds in the next few months and hopefully make Expert. Will use your video as a good baseline of where I need to get to.

    Cheers!

  • Thanks for your video.

  • Thank you so much! Your video is useful for me, because i`ll try to get this drills soon.

  • What holster are you using??

    Awesome shooting!!

  • @chex22 I use Blade Tech holsters. Thanks for the comments, I should have recorded my 84 second run I did a month ago.

  • Great video. Quick question...

Were the drills you ran at 7 and 10 yards? If so, is that the standard distance for an IDPA qualfier?

    Thanks for the video.

  • @saint194

The classifier stages are in the rulebook and on the IDPA website (idpa.com/classify1.asp)

    They are at 7, 10, 15, and 20 yards.

  • Thanks for posting, this is about the most straight forward video of the classifier I have seen.
