@elgrinchh the HD Hero 1080 has 1080p the hd hero 960 only 960p.

The hd hero 960 don't record with 60fps @ 720p.

And the Hero Bus expansion port is missing

@einhzen74 The GoPro don't come with a edit program, but you really need one. Edit Programs, which supporting HD, often costs a lot of money. I work with the Corel Video Studio Pro X3

From my point of view the Go Pro HD is a bit better. The colours are deeper and the fisheye effect is not so strong. + There are more accessorys.

The included housing of the go pro hd is waterproof. The waterproof housing of the contour hd cost 27$ and is not included.

But the Contour HD is cheaper (in germany, I don't know the prices in other countries), because there is a new contour cam, called Contour Gps.

You can only change the settings of the contour on a Computer. With the help of the display you can change every setting on the GoPro and you don't need a Computer. Thats why I chosed the GoPro HD and sent back the Contour HD.
